Baby: What is determination?
That's a big word!

Mom: Resolutions are things we resolve, or decide, to do.
Mom: Determination is what we make up our minds and decide what we want to do.
You can also think of them as goals that you set up for yourself.

Child: Well, I want to read more books.
Baby: Okay, I want to read more books.

Why don't we say "I will read at least 2 books each week?"
We can say, "I read at least two books a week." ”
Since you are so young,
Because you're still young,
books for your reading level are short
The books that suit your reading level are short,
and we can read a few each week.
We can read several books a week.
Child: Okay, I can do that.
Baby: Okay, I can.
Mom: Let me think of one thing I can resolve to do…
Mom: Let me think about one of the things I made up my mind to do...
hmm… I will eat less carbs next year.
Well...... Next year I'm going to eat less carbs.
Child: What's another one I can do?
Baby: What else can I do?
Mom: How about spending more time outside this coming year?
Mom: How about going outdoors more next year?
Child: Yeah!
Baby: Hmm!
I'll write my last one:

I will get better at math.
My math would be better.
Oh wait, can I change it to "I will visit my grandma and grandpa more"?
Oh wait, can I change it to "I'll visit my grandparents more"?
I want to do that.
I want to do this.
Mom: Well, I think you are very capable of doing both,
Mom: Okay, I think you have the ability to do both things.
so let's write both down!
So let's write both down!
Child: You need one more, Mommy!
Baby: You need one more, Mom!
Mom: I'll add this:
Mom: I add this:
I will do yoga twice a week.
