Ni Bi is a native of Jiangdu, Jiangsu Province, a first-term student of the Whampoa Military Academy, and has extremely high seniority in the National Army. Ni Bi worked at the Gendarmerie School, entered the Gendarmerie After graduation, and made his career here, because of his outstanding performance in his work, he was recommended to study at the Whampoa Military Academy, and after graduation, he served as the battalion commander of the Whampoa Military Academy Teaching Regiment. The position of battalion commander was not simple, at that time there were only two teaching regiments in the Whampoa Military Academy, and the leader of one of the regiments was He Yingqin, which showed Ni Bi's seniority.
After that, Ni Bi participated in the Northern Expedition and successively served as the party representative of the newly organized 1st Division of the First Army and the commander of the Ganzhou Garrison. This period of Ni Bi's time in Ganzhou was also the most evil period of his life, when Chiang Kai-shek launched the "Clean Party" movement, and Ni Bi became the vanguard of "anti-communism" and arrested CCP members and progressives in Ganzhou. At that time, Chen Zanxian, a member of the Communist Party of China, served as vice chairman of the Ganzhou Federation of Trade Unions and actively organized workers to carry out a strike movement, which caused dissatisfaction among the Kuomintang authorities.
In 1927, Chen Zanxian was holding a meeting of the Federation of Trade Unions in Ganzhou, and as a result, Ni Bi sent an officer Hu Qiru into the venue to arrest Chen Zanxian and imprison him. ”
After hearing this, Chen Zanxian said angrily, "You shameless reactionaries, even if you kill me, I will not disband the trade union!" ”
As soon as this remark came out, Ni Bi, Hu Qiru and others were very annoyed, and at that time, Hu Qiru immediately shot at Chen Zanxian, who fell in a pool of blood and died heroically.
Afterwards, Ni Bi and others were criticized by the people of the whole country, especially the people of Ganzhou, and Ni Bi was very panicked and had to flee Ganzhou and go to Jiangsu. Of course, this did not affect Ni Bi's career, and after that, he successively served as the head of the supplementary regiment, the commander of the new division, and the executive member of the Party Department of Jiangsu Province. During the War of Resistance. After the victory of the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, Ni Bi was kicked away by Chiang Kai-shek and idled at home for 3 years, until 1948, when he returned to serve as a member of the Supervision Commission of the Jiangsu and Zhejiang Districts.
After the liberation of Shanghai in 1949, Ni Bi took the initiative to hand over the Supervision Bureau to the People's Liberation Army, and after the founding of the People's Republic of China, he served as a teacher for a while, but he was eventually arrested and imprisoned, and later sentenced to death and immediately executed.
