The surname Kong is not special, like Kong Congzhou, Kong Shiquan and other generals are surnamed Kong, but Kong Qingde is special in his birth in Qufu, Shandong, is a solid descendant of Confucius, according to the Kong family tree, he is 73 generations of descendants.
However, Kong Qingde, who came from the first family, came from a poor background, and at the age of 16, in order to make a living, he joined Chen Tiaoyuan's Northern Expedition to seek a livelihood. Chen Tiaoyuan was a man who was very knowledgeable about current affairs, and was obviously a general of the Beiyang warlords, but he saw through the trend of the times, joined the revolutionary army with the Beiyang Army behind his back, and was posthumously promoted to a first-class general of the army by the Republic of China government after his death. However, Chen Chaoyuan's troops still had the bad atmosphere of warlords, which made Kong Qingde gradually feel suspicious, so in 1931, he followed the battalion commander Wei Mengxian and quietly defected to the Red Army.
Kong Qingde's proudest battle was during the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, which was called the Night Attack on Yangmingbao. Generally speaking, the masterpiece of the night attack on Yangmingbao belonged to Chen Xilian, but the battalion that served as the main attack at that time was a battalion of the 769th Regiment of the 385th Brigade of the 129th Division of the Eighth Route Army, and the commander of this battalion was none other than Kong Qingde. It was under the command of Chen Xilian and the execution of Kong Qingde that the Eighth Route Army blew up 24 Japanese aircraft at one time, greatly alleviating the pressure on the frontal battlefield.
It is reasonable to say that Kong Qingde is a descendant of Confucius and should be angry with books, but he is diametrically opposed, never dragging mud and water in his work, and has the style of a great general.
Once Kong Qingde went to inspect the construction of the Yellow River Bridge, because of the historical situation at that time, people were unwilling to engage in construction work, the bridge construction work was delayed again and again, Kong Qingde could not bear it, he issued a death order to the person in charge of the bridge, requiring him to complete it in 10 months.
The person in charge was very embarrassed, thinking that this was a fantasy and complained to Kong Qingde. But Kong Qingde ignored it, he was to organize and mobilize everyone to build bridges, rather than do something meaningless. The person in charge was afraid of being questioned, so he had to seriously supervise the workers, and after tens of thousands of people were seriously put into work, the Yellow River Bridge was completed in only 8 months.
Kong Qingde's life was just and righteous, and on September 29, 2010, Kong Qingde passed away.
