Of course, there are exceptions to everything.
A small SUV from the Geely BMA architecture, Geely Binyue, under the appearance of fashion and sports, has a very strong "big heart", but the "big" here is not the displacement, but the powerful acceleration performance brought by the 1.5T engine, which is significantly ahead of the same level of products. At the same time, Geely Automobile also provided a 1.4T engine for users who pursue stability and comfort, and all aspects of the performance are also good. So the question is, in the case of a displacement difference of 0.1L, how much is the difference in the cost of Geely Binyue 1.5T and 1.4T models? Next, we will conduct a survey of binyue insurance costs, maintenance costs and fuel costs.
Insurance cost survey
According to our survey, more people bought the "2021 1.4T DCT Diamond Edition" and the "2021 1.5TD DCT Star Edition". According to the maintenance manual, the maintenance interval of the Geely Binyue 1.4T automatic model is 7500km, and the small maintenance is 340 yuan. The replacement cycle of air conditioning filter and air filter element is 20,000km, the replacement cycle of spark plug is 22,500km, and the replacement cycle of brake fluid is 50,000km. The maintenance interval of binyue 1.5T model is 10,000km, and the small maintenance is 740 yuan. We calculate the maintenance cost based on the three-year driving of 60,000km of general family cars, and the Geely Binyue 1.4T and 1.5T models need 4106 yuan and 5863 yuan respectively. It can be seen that although the small maintenance price of the Geely Binyue 1.5T model is 400 yuan more expensive than the 1.4T model, the longer maintenance interval still narrows the maintenance cost gap between the two cars, of course, the total cost of three years is more than 1700 yuan, which is also in line with expectations, after all, if you want to have stronger power, how much still needs a price.
Oil cost survey
The comprehensive fuel consumption of the NEDC of the Geely Binyue 1.4T automatic model is 6.3L/100 km, and the comprehensive fuel consumption of the 1.5T NEDC model is also 6.3L/100 km. According to our survey, the actual fuel consumption of the 1.4T automatic model is 7.6L/100 km; the actual fuel consumption of the 1.5T model is 7.7L/100 km. We calculate the fuel cost based on the current 92 gasoline 7.1 yuan per liter, after three years of driving 60,000km, the total fuel cost of the 1.4T automatic model is 32376 yuan; the 1.5T model is 32802 yuan. It can be seen that the fuel consumption gap between the two displacements of Binyue is not large, and the fuel cost is only more than 400 yuan in three years, and the average monthly 1.5T model is only less than 12 yuan more expensive than the 1.4T model, which has almost no impact on daily cars.

Adding the above maintenance costs, insurance costs and fuel costs, we can calculate that the cost of geely Binyue 1.4T and 1.5T models driving 60,000km for three years is about 49,157 yuan and 51,815 yuan, respectively, with an average annual cost of about 16,386 yuan and 17,272 yuan, and about 1,365 yuan and 1,439 yuan per month, respectively.
