Over the past few weeks and months, more and more details about Samsung's expected Galaxy S22 series have been revealed. The new smartphone lineup will consist of three models. In addition to the base model, the Galaxy S22 Plus is expected, as well as the new top-of-the-line model, the S22 Ultra or the S22 Note.
By now, most of the specifications have appeared online, and the designs of all three models have been disclosed through renderings. The only thing missing is official marketing materials. To this day, because LetsGoDigital managed to get the official marketing poster of Samsung Electronics. This is the first time we've really seen the new S-Series in 2022, and it reveals some new details with pictures from Samsung posters.

In order to protect the source, the source of this picture cannot be revealed. However, it has been confirmed that this is an official picture from Samsung Electronics. Such posters are often used in public places, such as public train stations, airports, or roadside billboards.
The poster image shows Samsung's new flagship model, which confirms the previously rumored design of the back panel. As LetsGoDigital revealed in October, the Ultra model will feature a teardrop camera design. It is also worth noting that the text that accompanies it, "Galaxy S22 Ultra", is depicted in Samsung's usual font.
For a long time, people were unsure about the name. Part of the reason is that the new top-of-the-line model is so similar in design and functionality to the Galaxy Note series that it has been suggested several times online that Samsung will also change the name of the model. People mention different model names, from the Galaxy S22 Note to the Galaxy Note S22 Ultra and the Galaxy S22 Note Ultra. However, official media images show that Samsung will maintain its traditional name, or in other words, the Galaxy S21 Ultra will be replaced by the Galaxy S22 Ultra.
Equally striking is the color displayed by the new top-of-the-line model, which is a pink/purple hue. There is currently no information on the name of this Turkish rose variant. To be clear, ultra models will also be released in black, white, red, and green. Some of these colors may be available in limited countries – details about which are still sparse.
The image also shows that the S22 Ultra will be compatible with Samsung's S Pen. The stylus appears black, and the end of the stylus has the same pink color as the phone itself. Due to the location of the phone, the bottom of the device is not clearly visible in the marketing pictures.
What is now known, however, is that it will be the first Galaxy S-series smartphone with a built-in S Pen compartment and, of course, many other official Galaxy S22 accessories are expected.
In addition to the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra, another smartphone is shown in the picture. This is the Galaxy S22 Plus, which is expected to come in two colors: white/black/green and rose gold. The basic type looks the same as the Plus type – the main difference is in size. The S22 will come with a 6.06-inch AMOLED display, and the Plus model will come with a 6.55-inch screen.
The camera system has changed slightly from its predecessor. The main difference is that it protrudes less in part. This means that when you put the S22/S22+ flat on the table, it shakes less. Another characteristic difference is that the curve of the camera module running towards the side and top of the phone has also been greatly reduced, and another benefit is that this will prevent dust and dirt from accumulating around the camera lens.
The necessary information about the camera specifications has also been published. The Basic and Plus models will feature a three-in-one camera module consisting of a 50MP wide-angle camera, a 12MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 12MP 3x optical zoom camera.
The Ultra model will receive a state-of-the-art camera system. The top model will come with a quad camera. In addition to the improved 108MP main camera, there will be a 12MP ultra-wide-angle camera and two 10MP telephoto cameras for 3x and 10x optical zoom.
Samsung is expected to officially announce the Galaxy S22 series in mid-February 2022.
