Huawei Petal Maps integrates Bolt taxi service in Europe and Africa

IT Home reported on December 21 that Huawei Petal Map has brought new convenience features to its users in Europe and Africa, and has partnered with the popular ride-hailing service Bolt to launch a ride-hailing service.

Bolt was one of the first major brands to join Huawei's AppGallery. Now, Bolt is integrated with Huawei's Petal Map, and the cooperation is further deepened.

IT Home understands that smartphones based on Huawei Mobile Services (HMS) and users who download petal maps from Google Play can take a taxi during trips to search for locations.

Once the user taps on the Bolt icon, they are automatically taken to the Bolt App, where they can then book a driver, check the driver's details and distance, and see the cost of the trip.

In addition, the two companies have partnered with Bolt at the software development level to integrate Huawei's Map Kit, enabling it to provide personalized display and HMS device interaction for apps.

For users living in Europe and Africa, these new features available at Petal Maps can be viewed in Huawei's AppGallary or Google Play Store.
