On December 20th, the 16th "China Core" Integrated Circuit Industry Promotion Conference, the national integrated circuit guided by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, was held, and the fourth-generation display quality processing chip independently designed and developed by Hisense Core Micro Company won the "Excellent Technology Innovation Product" award, which is the only display driver chip product in the industry this year, and Hisense is also the only enterprise in China's television industry to win the "China Core" award. The annual "China Core" activity has become a vane and a major review of the development of domestic integrated circuit products and technologies. Previously, Hisense's three generations of 4K picture quality processing chips have won the "China Core" Excellence Award.
Chips are an important factor in determining the final presentation of TV quality. Hisense is the earliest color TV manufacturer involved in chip research and development in China, and the "core-making" technology has accumulated deeply. Since Hisense successfully developed China's first digital video processing chip with independent intellectual property rights and industrialization in 2005, Xinxin has continued to invest in chip research and development to form a complete series of chip products.
It is understood that the ultra-high-definition picture quality processing chip HV7827 designed and developed by Hisense Micro Company to support stacked screen display control is the fourth generation of Hisense display quality processing chip, and it is also the first picture quality processing chip in the industry to support the stacked screen display control function. The chip can be widely used in ultra-high-definition TV, professional display, commercial display and other product areas, in February 2021 to achieve the whole machine batch industrialization application, for the display products to bring the best picture quality, while providing the best picture quality experience for end users.
HV7827 chip through the independent control of the upper and lower two LCD screens, the contrast effect of the stacked screen display is comparable to the OLED screen; the improved motion estimation motion compensation technology protects the fast-moving small objects in the display scene to ensure that the image is complete, smooth, and will not tear; the increased variable refresh rate (VRR) function reduces the jitter and sluggishness caused by the fast motion scene, and improves the user's viewing experience. In addition, in the traditional contrast processing technology, the functions of multi-partition backlight control, local contrast improvement, image de-contouring effect and so on have been optimized and improved to better meet the application needs of products such as stacked screen display and MiniLED display.
At present, Hisense TV display driver TCON chip has ranked first in the global market share, Hisense ultra-high-definition display quality chip products have formed a technical barrier in 8K display quality processing technology, and ultra-high-definition display quality processing chips that support 8K resolution have begun to be produced.
