On December 20, the reporter learned from the Henan Museum that the "Golden Phase Jade Style - Golden Jade Special Craft Treasure Exhibition along the Huangjiu Province" will be officially unveiled at the Henan Museum tomorrow, and the exhibition brings together nearly 300 pieces of gold and jade special craft cultural relics from 23 cultural institutions along the Huangjiu Province, spanning nearly 4,000 years. Among them, including gold-faced bronze heads from sanxingdui museum, bronze plaques with turquoise animal faces, and turquoise lattice bronze swords inlaid in the Shanxi Museum and other popular cultural relics.
The rich collection of cultural relics in the Yellow River Basin carries the common historical memory of the people along the Yellow River and is the crystallization of the wisdom of the sons and daughters of the Yellow River. "Heaven, earth, material beauty, craftsmanship", the craftsmen of the Yellow River Basin are obsessed with art, good at planning, with "gold" and "jade" as the carrier, constantly innovating craftsmanship, leaving many breathtaking artistic treasures. As an important material carrier of the Yellow River culture, the golden jade special craft device embodies the two-way exchange of Eastern and Western cultures, the mutual reference of craft technology, and contains the cultural connotation of beauty and coexistence, harmony and symbiosis.
This exhibition is the first special exhibition jointly planned and held since the establishment of the "Yellow River Basin Museum Alliance" in 2019, hoping to show the innovative vitality and outstanding wisdom of the sons and daughters of the Yellow River through this exhibition of "gold" and "jade" craft, so that the audience can appreciate the beauty of utensils, the beauty of skills, the beauty of ingenuity, and the beauty of culture, while feeling the cultural accumulation and self-confidence of the Chinese nation.
The exhibition is divided into five parts, namely "Golden Jade Radiance", "Wrapped in Gold and Wrapped in Silver", "Gold Miscolor", "Floating Light Leaping Gold" and "Drinking Gold and Jade".
The first part, "Golden Jade Radiance", mainly introduces the process of gold and jade combining and inlaying jade. From the combination of copper and the broad jade represented by turquoise, to the combination of gold and real jade and gemstone dominated by Hetian jade, the aesthetics of the ancients have undergone a transformation from the beauty of divine luxury to the beauty of luxury and magnificence.
The second part, "Wrapping Gold and Wrapping Silver", mainly introduces the process of wrapping gold and silver and pasting gold and silver. The beauty of the bezel setting gives the artifact a watch of gold and silver. In the late Warring States period, the golden decorative features influenced by the nomadic tribes of the steppe of Central Asia began to be integrated into the plastic arts of the Central Plains.

Gilded gold and silver are plated on the surface of copperware, such as gold and silver. China's gilt and silver process began about the late Spring and Autumn Period, the Warring States to the Han Dynasty, the world's earliest use of amalgam-gilt gold and silver countries.
The fifth part, "Jujin Eating Jade", mainly introduces and displays the special craftsmanship of gold and jade after the Wei and Jin Dynasties and the Southern and Northern Dynasties. Since the Wei and Jin Dynasties, large-scale cultural exchanges and ethnic integration, coupled with the influence of foreign gold and silverware such as Byzantium, Persia and Sogdia in the Tang Dynasty, have been integrated and innovated with their own characteristics, forming a peak period in the history of the development of ancient gold and silverware.
The exhibition is located in the east exhibition hall of Henan Museum, and the exhibition period is from December 21, 2021 to February 20, 2022.
