According to the narrator, it was excavated in 2002 in Jiuliandun Chu Tomb No. 2 in Zaoyang, Hubei Province, dating from the middle and late Warring States period, it is full of black paint, decorated with red, yellow, silver and white multi-color painting, the stable tiger seat and the flying phoenix frame highlight the romance and magic of Chu culture. From the tiger seat to the phoenix frame, from the shape to the painting, and its exquisite degree, it can be called the representative work of the Chu lacquer art.

Located in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River, the Chu State has a history of about 800 years and played an important role in the formation of Chinese civilization. Guodian Chujian 'Lao Tzu' B was copied in the middle of the Warring States period, earlier than the "Lao Tzu" book excavated in Changsha's Mawangdui, and is the earliest copy of "Lao Tzu" that has been seen so far.

Zeng Bo's copper pot, painted phoenix-patterned stone woven chime, Wu Wangfu's spear, renqing copper lamp... The precious cultural relics representing the characteristics of Chu culture amazed the guests.

The Yue Wang Gou Jian Sword is a national treasure-level cultural relic, which not only epitomizes the developed level of science and technology and art in the Spring and Autumn period and the Warring States Period, but also bears witness to the relationship between Chu and Vietnam at that time.

The exhibition hall of the Zeng family uses cultural relics to show the archaeological mysteries of Zeng Guo. Zengguo Archaeology is one of the archaeological discoveries with the most achievements and the highest social attention in Hubei Province in recent years, and the wonderful excavation results have attracted the attention of all sectors of society. The efforts of archaeologists have gradually made the appearance of Zeng Guo, an ancient country with lost historical records, gradually clear.

The exhibition hall is located on the second floor of the west side of the south main hall, which is divided into four parts: "The First Seal of Jianghan", "The Great Power of Eastern Han", "King Zuoyou of Chu" and "Huazhang Reproduction", through archaeological results, comprehensively reveal the development process of Zeng Guo from leading the way in the Jianghan region to nourishing the Chu state and finally integrating into the Chu culture.

The Liangzhuang King Collection exhibition showcases treasures from the Zheng He era. Zhu Zhanya, the King of Liangzhuang, was the ninth son of Emperor Akihito, and his fief was located in present-day Zhongxiang, Hubei, and he lived in an era when the Ming Dynasty was opening up to the outside world, and Zheng He's fleet made many voyages to the West.

The exhibition hall is located in the east of the third floor of the South Main Hall, divided into three parts: "Tianhuang Guiguan", "Pearls Surrounded by Green Circles" and "Silk Road Treasures", through the exhibition of precious cultural relics excavated from the tomb of King Liangzhuang, reproducing the aristocratic life of King Liangzhuang and His Princess, and also showing the cultural exchanges between China and the West brought about by the Maritime Silk Road.

The exhibition of fine calligraphy and painting shows the treasures of calligraphy and painting in the collection of Hubei Provincial Museum. The Hubei Provincial Museum now has a collection of nearly 10,000 calligraphy and painting works, of which 114 are first-class works, mainly ming and qing dynasty and modern works, but also dunhuang, Song Dynasty Japanese scriptures and paintings from the Southern Song Dynasty and Yuan Dynasties.
