Located on the first and second floors of the east side of the South Main Hall, the exhibition hall of Zeng Houyi is divided into six parts: "Respecting the Ancestors of Heaven", "Jin Sheng Yu Zhen", "So Shang Ruo Chen", "Viewing and Teaching Time", "Carriage and Horse Ceremonial Guard" and "Eternal Protection and Enjoyment", which explain the cultural relics of Zeng Houyi from multiple angles, reflect the ancient liturgical civilization, and highlight the characteristics of cultural relics and art.

According to the staff of the provincial bo, the "residence" of Zeng Houyi chimes in the new museum has a large area, higher scientific and technological content, and a good viewing environment, which can be called a "super mansion".

"The display of Zeng Houyi chimes in the new museum will emphasize the sense of space. The chimes were excavated in the middle chamber of the tomb, and the occasions it was used were originally large places such as the Zongmiao Temple, so the exhibition space provided by the new museum for the Zenghou Yi chimes was very large, with two floors high, which belonged to the center position from the ceremonial point of view. Fang Qin, director of the Provincial Museum, introduced, "The new museum uses a large number of high-tech elements, such as constant temperature and humidity system, low-reflection glass, modern information technology, etc., which can not only deeply protect cultural relics, but also allow the audience to have a better experience when visiting." ”

The exhibition hall of the 800th anniversary of the Chu Kingdom is the most eye-catching

In the 800-year exhibition hall of the Chu Kingdom, the attention of the guests was attracted by the Tiger Bird Drum with the characteristics of The Magnificent Jingchu.

According to the narrator, it was excavated in 2002 in Jiuliandun Chu Tomb No. 2 in Zaoyang, Hubei Province, dating from the middle and late Warring States period, it is full of black paint, decorated with red, yellow, silver and white multi-color painting, the stable tiger seat and the flying phoenix frame highlight the romance and magic of Chu culture. From the tiger seat to the phoenix frame, from the shape to the painting, and its exquisite degree, it can be called the representative work of the Chu lacquer art.

Located in the middle and west of the third floor of the South Main Hall, the exhibition hall of the 800 years of the Chu kingdom is divided into four units: "opening up the territory and expanding the territory", "etiquette and customs", "stunning brilliance" and "searching up and down", breaking the narrative context with material as the main category, absorbing new research results, highlighting the spiritual connotation of the Chu people's "blue wisps of the Yanlu Road" and "a blockbuster", from material to spiritual, from documents to cultural relics, comprehensively displaying the history and culture of the Chu state.

With the guests visiting, the Yangtze River Daily reporter also saw that the original bamboo jane of Guodian Chujian "Lao Tzu" B was surrounded by the display cabinet. It was excavated in 1993 at the Chu Tomb no. 1 Guodian in Jingmen. Lao Tzu, also known as the Tao Te Ching, was written in the late Spring and Autumn period. Guodian Chujian 'Lao Tzu' B was copied in the middle of the Warring States period, earlier than the "Lao Tzu" book excavated in Changsha's Mawangdui, and is the earliest copy of "Lao Tzu" that has been seen so far.

Zeng Bo's copper pot, painted phoenix-patterned stone woven chime, Wu Wangfu's spear, renqing copper lamp... The precious cultural relics representing the characteristics of Chu culture amazed the guests.

According to the staff of the provincial bo, there is a mirror at the head of the sword of the Yue King' Gou Jian sword, so that visitors can more clearly see the eleven concentric circles at the head of the sword.

Located in the middle of the second floor of the Provincial Boxin Pavilion, the Yue Wang Gou Jian Jian Exhibition Hall is divided into three units: "Yue Guo Spring and Autumn", "Shocking Discovery" and "King of the Sword", taking the history of Yue Guo as the starting point and introducing the historical story and scientific and technological achievements behind "Yue Wang Gou Jian Sword".

According to reports, the Yue Wang Gou Jian sword was inserted in the lacquered wood sword sheath when it was unearthed, and when it was sheathed, it was still cold and shining, dazzling, and its sword blade was thin and sharp, and it was tested that it could easily cut 20 pieces of white paper at a time. Although this bronze sword has been buried deep underground for more than 2,500 years, the ornamentation is still clear and rustless, and it is known as "the first sword in the world".

The exhibition hall of the Zeng family uses cultural relics to show the archaeological mysteries of Zeng Guo. Zengguo Archaeology is one of the archaeological discoveries with the most achievements and the highest social attention in Hubei Province in recent years, and the wonderful excavation results have attracted the attention of all sectors of society. The efforts of archaeologists have gradually made the appearance of Zeng Guo, an ancient country with lost historical records, gradually clear.

Located on the second floor on the west side of the South Main Hall, the Zeng Shijia Exhibition Hall is divided into four parts: "Shifeng Jianghan", "Handong Great Power", "Zuoyou Chu Wang" and "Huazhang Reproduction", through archaeological results, it fully reveals the development process of Zeng Guo from leading the way in the Jianghan region to nourishing the Chu state and finally integrating into the Chu culture.

The Liangzhuang King Collection exhibition showcases treasures from the Zheng He era. Zhu Zhanya, the King of Liangzhuang, was the ninth son of Emperor Akihito, and his fief was located in present-day Zhongxiang, Hubei, and he lived in an era when the Ming Dynasty was opening up to the outside world, and Zheng He's fleet made many voyages to the West.

Located in the east of the third floor of the South Main Hall, the Liangzhuang King Collection Exhibition Hall is divided into three parts: "Tianhuang Guiguan", "ZhuWei Cui", and "Silk Road Treasure", through the exhibition of precious cultural relics excavated from the tomb of Liangzhuang King, reproducing the aristocratic life of Liangzhuang King and Princess, and also showing the cultural exchanges between China and the West brought by the Maritime Silk Road.

The exhibition of fine calligraphy and painting shows the treasures of calligraphy and painting in the collection of Hubei Provincial Museum. The Hubei Provincial Museum now has a collection of nearly 10,000 calligraphy and painting works, of which 114 are first-class works, mainly ming and qing dynasty and modern works, but also dunhuang, Song Dynasty Japanese scriptures and paintings from the Southern Song Dynasty and Yuan Dynasties.

The exhibition hall of fine calligraphy and painting is located on the fourth floor of the South Main Hall, which is divided into four parts: "Calligraphy and Painting Before the Ming Dynasty", "Calligraphy and Painting of the Ming Dynasty", "Calligraphy and Painting of the Qing Dynasty" and "Modern Calligraphy and Painting", which collects representative works of calligraphy and painting in various periods of the museum and displays them intensively.
