A rescue excavation revealed a mysterious princely state that has not been recorded in the history books, who is the so-called person of Zeng Houyi, and who owns the magnificent and exquisite chimes? Exquisite and intricate bronzes, inscriptions revealing historical mysteries, a large tomb of the Warring States period, telling a legendary story... On the evening of January 8, CCTV broadcast a set of prime-time "Chinese Archaeological Conference", focusing on the Zeng Guo underground, interpreting the mysteries and chimes of zenghou, and exploring the Zenghou family hidden behind historical documents.
The "Zuo Biography" records: "The country of Eastern Han is as big as it gets. However, what is puzzling is that a large number of cultural relics from the Spring and Autumn Period were excavated in the area where the Suiguo was recorded in the historical records, and the cultural relics named Suiguo were not unearthed here. Scholars call it "the mystery that once followed.".
The program begins with exploration, through the inscription "犺乍列考南公宝尊彝" on the Nangong Gui unearthed in Yejiashan, the Chu ZhaoWang Ben Sui recorded in the "Zuo Chuan", and the bronze vessel in the tomb of ZengHou Bao's wife Qijia excavated in the jujube forest, which has a series of clues such as "Chu Wang's wife with Zhongqi Jia", interpreting Zeng and Suishi as one country.

In the program, the real orange and yellow color of the chimes was restored in the video, as well as the crimson dragon patterns on the chimes and beams, which made the audience praise them.
As an instrument, the magic magnificence and superiority of Zeng Houyi's chimes are unique in the history of world music. Fang Qin introduced that Zeng Houyi's chimes have a 3775-word inscription, which is called an ancient music theory encyclopedia. The Gongshang Kakusei Yu engraved on the clock was marked first, and it can be accurately pronounced when it is made, indicating the high level of the ancestors' production skills and the high confidence in music theory.
The drum dun No. 2 tomb chime bell, also known as the God Man Snake and Beast Face Pattern Yong Bell, is the treasure of the Suizhou City Museum. When unearthed, it was placed in the form of a large bell set and a small bell, and there was no bell frame. The whole set of chimes has a thick bass, a rounded alto, a crisp and pleasant treble, can be transposed, plays many famous Chinese and foreign songs, and has the same world-wide C major as modern pianos. The history of the piano is only about 300 years, but the history of chimes is more than 2400 years, and the musical wisdom of the Ancient Chinese people has amazed the world.
