Introduction: As the saying goes, when things go wrong, there must be demons, and the words handed down by the ancestors are very reasonable. It was on the basis of this old saying that Xu Hengzhi helped the troops get out of a danger. The appearance of a bird actually made a bold and knowledgeable commander change his face and immediately gave the order: Break through immediately. Xu Hengzhi's keen observation and rapid and accurate reaction ability are not what ordinary people can have. If it were a bird in modern times, why make a fuss. However, in that turbulent era, the people were hungry, where was the energy and excess grain to raise such a beautiful bird, and it turned out that this bird was the "traitor" of the Japanese army.

Xu Hengzhi's keen observation and ability to react quickly and accurately are not innate, which is closely related to his experience since childhood. Heo Hyung-sik was born in 1909 in North Gyeongsang-do, North Korea, where his grandfather came from a well-to-do family and was still an aristocrat, but due to the changes of the times, his family fell in the middle of the road. By the time Heo Hyung-sik was born, his family could only earn a living by farming from his grandfather and father. Heung-sik's youth was spent in turmoil and poverty. Due to the change of family circumstances, he could not continue to go to school, but his father still did not give up his education, And Hyung-sik was smart and studious, not only learned Korean, but also learned Chinese, which paved the way for further learning Han cultural knowledge in the future.
At that time, many Korean patriots who were exiled to the northeast carried out anti-Japanese activities in the Kaiyuan area. In his hometown, Xu Hengzhi often had contact with patriots and read some progressive books, and his thinking progressed rapidly, and he came into contact with patriotic ideas earlier. This laid the foundation for his future anti-Japanese patriotic thinking. Later, Heung Heung-sik's family moved to a new place of residence, when there were frequent anti-Japanese activities near Heung-sik's family, which deeply influenced his thinking. A good boy should serve the country. Li Qingzhao once said: Born as a master, death is also a ghost male. Even when he was newly married, he still devoted himself to the cause of national rejuvenation regardless of his small family.
Xu Hengzhi, with his enthusiasm and hard work, traveled back and forth to many places, and completed the secret work tasks of the organization many times, and he could not tell his parents and wife that he was careful every time for the sake of the organization and the country. Since he is Korean, he is not very fluent in Chinese, in order to adapt to the needs of work as soon as possible.
He often went deep among the Han people not only to learn the cultural knowledge of the Han people, but also to lay a good mass foundation with the people, which laid a good foundation for his future mass ideological movement. The sky paid off, and soon his efforts were rewarded, and his Chinese was already fluent. After more than a year of continuous efforts, he soon became a reliable cadre of the party and gloriously joined the Communist Party of China in early 1930.
In the process of contacting the Han people and patriotic activists, Xu Hengzhi not only learned cultural knowledge, but also profoundly realized that in order to completely drive the Japanese devils out of the territory of the Chinese, China must fight the Japanese army to the end, and as a Chinese, he must actively participate in the anti-Japanese salvation movement. So he participated in the anti-Japanese activities, he once joined the anti-Japanese parade, and like Lu Xun, he realized that if he wanted to save the country, the people's patriotic consciousness was more important. Therefore, he distributed leaflets along the way, calling on the masses to rise up against Japan and dedicate their own strength to the movement to save the survival of the people.
Unfortunately, Comrade Xu Hengzhi was arrested and imprisoned, and in prison Heo Hengzhi was tortured, but he was unyielding, never betrayed the revolution, had sunshine in his heart, had strength under his feet, and the people's country was the sunshine in his heart. After this experience, he knew that the anti-Japanese salvation movement not only relied on propaganda, but also threw himself into the War of Resistance Against Japan. Before Lu Xun abandoned his pen and followed Rong, and then Xu Hengzhi gave up his life to take righteousness, China's revolutionary cause will have the strength to live endlessly, and China's future revolutionary fire will be endless.
Because Comrade Xu Hengzhi worked actively, united comrades, and had a high management ability, he soon took up the leadership of the team, first as an instructor of the Guerrilla Hadong Detachment, and then as a brigade commander. Later, he participated in many battles and mass activities, many battles tempered his combat ability and command ability, many battles also improved his sensitivity to danger, and many mass activities also increased his understanding of the life of the masses, which laid a good foundation for his future battles.
Xu Hengzhi's final battle not only fully demonstrated his personal ability, but also showed his fearless spirit of sacrificing bravely. Qingfengling was Hengzhi's last stop, where Xu Hengzhi had been active for many days, when the enemy's "crusade team" had already searched the mountains in this area, the situation was very urgent, and in order to retain the revolutionary strength, it could not stay here for long. The people in the procession were at their own disposal, but a beautifully colored bird stood on the branch and kept a close eye on them, his face changed dramatically, and he immediately realized that this was the "treacherous spy" of the devil, and immediately ordered it to be transferred.
Although the transfer was timely, in order to take care of the slow-moving soldiers in the team, the speed of retreat and transfer was not fast, and despite the struggle to walk, it was still chased by the Japanese devils. While covering the transfer of comrades, Xu Hengzhi was unfortunately shot and died heroically. Even when the gap between the enemy and us was very obvious, Xu Hengzhi still led the soldiers to engage in a fierce battle with the enemy for more than two hours. In the end, because of the outnumbered, Xu Hengzhi and the guard Chen Yunxiang died heroically. Heo Hyung-sik was only thirty-three years old at the time of his death. The motherland has lost another excellent commander, and the revolution has lost an excellent revolutionary.
Conclusion: It is precisely because there are one revolutionary after another like Comrade Xu Hengzhi who loves the country, the party, and the people that the revolution will succeed and the country will prosper. The people have faith, the country has hope, and as a new human being in the new era, we should keep in mind the mission, have the courage to take responsibility, and make our own strength for the country.
