Zhang Liping said that after the second and third generations of gene sequencing by the Guangdong Provincial Center for Disease Control and Prevention, the virus sequencing results of cases 3 and 4 announced on the 15th were highly homologous to cases 1 and 2, all of which belonged to the Delta strain, suggesting the same chain of transmission.

Dalang plans to carry out the third round of nucleic acid testing on the 17th

On the 15th, Dongguan launched a large-scale nucleic acid screening. Luo Xiaoyong, deputy director of the Dongguan Municipal Health Bureau, said that on the same day, Dongguan launched a large-scale nucleic acid testing of all towns and streets in the city except Changping, Liaobu, Dongkeng, Songshan Lake, Huangjiang and Dalingshan.

As of 24:00 on the 15th, these towns and streets have completed this round of nucleic acid screening, with a total of 11.141 million people sampled, of which the second round of nucleic acid screening in Dalang Town is 827,000 people.
