Luo Shengjiao was born in 1931 in An ordinary peasant family in Xinhua County, Hunan Province, luo Shengjiao experienced the War of Resistance Against Japan and the War of Liberation in his childhood, so he lived unevenly until he became an adult, so he was born in that war-torn era, suffering from war, he was very eager for a peaceful life, so after the founding of New China, Luo Shengjiao was full of enthusiasm and expectations for New China.
At the same time, he also wanted to do his part to make a contribution to maintaining national stability, so he joined the Chinese People's Liberation Army in November of the year of the founding of New China.
In 1951, Luo Shengjiao became one of the many Chinese volunteers who went to a foreign country to fight in Korea, and after the Chinese Volunteer Army entered Korea, it was welcomed by the Korean people, and often the Korean people gave their grain from their homes to the Chinese Volunteer Army free of charge, but the discipline in the volunteer army was strict, even if they carried a small ration, they never accepted any gift from the Korean people.
During the war, the Chinese Volunteer Army also tried its best to protect the safety of the local villagers, and sometimes after the war involved the villages of ordinary Koreans, it was also Chinese the Civilian Army Volunteer Army played the role of rescuing Korean civilians in the war.

In January 1952, Luo Shengjiao's reconnaissance company was ordered to rest in Ishida, Sungcheon-gun, South Pyongan Province, North Korea, during which they would also undergo harsh training to prepare for the subsequent battle.
One day in the same month, when Luo Shengjiao went around to look for the two grenades lost in the previous training, he found four skating teenagers on the river, and one teenager named Cui Ying fell into the cold river, and the other teenagers were panicked, scared, and overwhelmed.
At that time, his first reaction was to rescue the boy who had fallen into the water, so as he ran, he began to unbutton his clothes, took off his cotton clothes and boots as quickly as possible, and jumped into the ice water, while the clothes of the boy who had fallen into the water had been soaked and his weight had begun to sink.
So after he jumped into the water, he needed to dive to fish the boy out, the temperature was more than -20 degrees, and when he entered the water, he was quickly frozen unconscious, but he was still struggling to swim into the water and try to push the boy into the water.
And Luo Shengjiao also shouted angrily in one effort after another, which also attracted another soldier of the reconnaissance, Song Zhiyun, who also rushed to help, and then found a wooden pole to save the boy, but because of the limited manpower, Luo Shengjiao had already been washed away by the current before he was rescued.
After that, he called out to more warriors, and the rescued child returned home with other children to find some local people, and more people searched together, and they found the Luo Sheng Sect that had been frozen to death in the lower reaches of the river.
The parents of the teenager he rescued felt very remorseful and guilty, so they wanted to find the Chinese Volunteer Army, hoping to award Luo Shengjiao an honorary title to affirm and praise his behavior.
But by that time the troops had already identified his death as an accident and had already reported it to his superiors, and at that time, many soldiers had died on the battlefield or in other circumstances, so his death had not attracted the attention of his superiors.
Later, when a general named Ye Jianmin came to the local area to inspect the rest of the troops, he further learned about the situation, and according to the situation of the Korean people at that time, he believed that he could bury the LuoSheng Sect at the request of the people according to the most solemn funeral in Korea.
Because he knew that Comrade Luo's sacrifice was different from those soldiers who died on the battlefield, the handling of Luo Shengjiao's death was also related to the korean people's evaluation of the Chinese People's Volunteer Army.
Moreover, Ye Jianmin also personally went to the water's edge where the boy had fallen before, personally felt the bone-chilling river water, and was sincerely proud of Comrade Luo's heroic behavior. After that, he also personally reported to his superiors to ask for credit for Comrade Luo and held a memorial service for him.
In the end, the Standing Committee of the Supreme People's Assembly of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea awarded The Rassang-jiao the National Flag Medal of the First Class and the Order of Honor for Soldiers of the First Class, and the Political Department of the Chinese People's Volunteer Army posthumously awarded the martyrs of the Rassang Sect a special meritorious service and awarded the honorable title of "Model of Loving the People" of the first class.
Later, more than 2,000 local people spontaneously came to attend the memorial service of the Luo Sheng Sect, and Cui Ying and his mother still cried bitterly at the Memorial Service of the Luo Sheng Sect.

Later, the local people also spontaneously named the river where the Luo Sheng Sect sacrificed as "Luo Sheng Sect River". After The death of Luo Shengjiao, Cui Ying also contacted his father through the Chinese Volunteer Army, telling his father about the heroic sacrifice of his son and saying that she was willing to replace Luo Shengjiao as his son.
After the death of Luo Shengjiao, Cui Ying also constantly corresponded with Luo Father to ask about his physical condition, and truly regarded herself as Luo Father's son. Father Luo was also very touched by Cui Ying's approach, so he wanted to see his son from abroad.
In October 1953, when our government sent a condolence mission to Korea, it took Luo Father with us, and when the condolence group arrived in Korea, it was warmly welcomed by the local people of North Korea.
By then, Choe Young had become a soldier in North Korea, and Father Luo, like other senior generals who had come to Korea, was treated equally and received by Kim Il Sung, except that he did not live in the accommodation arranged by the North Korean side during his time in Korea, but was invited to live in the Choi family.
During that time, he and Cui Ying talked all night long, and Luo's father had already recognized Cui Ying's child from his heart, and brought him the clothes and other items that Luo's mother personally made for Cui Ying.
Perhaps in Luo Father's heart, Cui Ying is the continuation of his son's life. The next day, Luo's father also went to the tomb of his son Luo Shengjiao accompanied by Cui Ying and others, and finally he returned home safely with the condolence group.
His second meeting with Choi Ying was in 1954, when she followed the third North Korean delegation to China. In the summer of the following year, Choe Visited Guangzhou with a delegation from the Korean People's Army, visiting China twice in her lifetime.
Luo Shengjiao's deeds also touched the chairman, and in 1960, the chairman also invited Luo Father to participate in the commemorative meeting of the tenth anniversary of the volunteer army's overseas combat. In 1970, he was again invited to visit North Korea. And Cui Ying has always cared for him and his family in the form of correspondence, but unfortunately Cui Ying died in the line of duty in 1977!
