After 28 bids, Zhang Daqian's "Xiashan Gao Hidden Map" soared all the way, and finally fell to the hammer for 63 million yuan, plus commission for 72.45 million yuan.
In the auctions of other auction houses in this season, Zhang Daqian's works have performed well, highlighting a strong market position. At the 2021 autumn auction of Beijing Huayi International, Zhang Daqian's masterpiece "Songfeng Xiaoxiao Map" was sold for 92 million yuan. "Li Jian Statutory Lin Xiao Scatter Map" and "Yu Jian Idle Fishing Map" were sold for 45.425 million yuan and 24.15 million yuan respectively. At the Poly Auction Chinese Calligraphy and Painting Night Show, Zhang Daqian's "Eight Screens of Imitation of Zhujia Landscape and Water" was sold for 48.875 million yuan, which was more than 4 times the most undervalued price, and his "Ding Wei Splash" was also sold for 40.25 million yuan.
