(Global TMT, December 15, 2021) Casio Computer Co., Ltd. Announced the launch of the latest G-SHOCK shock-proof watch. GbD-H1000BAR and GBD-100BAR are a collaboration to celebrate the release of the documentary Matchday: Inside FC Barcelona, which explores the inner story of a famous Spanish football club.

The base of these two new watches is GBD-H1000 and GBD-100, both from the G-SQUAD series. The new watch is based on the reddish-blue colour of the FC Barcelona team uniform. The strap is designed to evoke memories of the team's uniforms of the past and present, and the club's slogan "Més que un club" (not just a club) is engraved in the local Catalan language. The GBD-H1000BAR features an ion-plated gold bezel that sparkles like a winner's trophy. The straps of both watches feature the four red stripes of the Catalan flag. The final signature packaging design is also inspired by the colours of FC Barcelona's uniforms, creating a superhuman charm.

Both new watches are equipped with accelerometers for step counting and distance tracking. The GBD-H1000BAR is also equipped with a heart rate monitor and GPS tracker. The new meter also provides mobile phone connectivity, which supports daily health management when paired with a dedicated smartphone app, and users can view life logs containing steps, calorie consumption data, activity logs, and more. The MIP (Pixel Memory) LCD display provides excellent visibility, while the polyurethane soft strap offers excellent breathability and flexibility, so it can be used daily or during high-intensity fitness for comfort.
