In order to comprehensively and deeply promote the safety education of children in the community, reduce the casualties caused by disasters, and improve the safety awareness of teachers and students on campus and the ability to respond to emergencies, on the occasion of the 5.12 National Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Day, on May 11, Shuanglin Community, Baqiao Town, Dadukou District, invited the Dadukou District Fire and Rescue Detachment to Kute Kindergarten to carry out the "Disaster Prevention and Mitigation and Safe Children's Walk" campus activity, and carried out fire safety knowledge training activities for teachers and children in the whole park.
With a rush of sirens, the emergency earthquake drill kicked off. Firefighters responded quickly and immediately organized students to find cover and take emergency shelter. After the second alarm sounded, the children, with the help of teachers and community volunteers, bent down to protect their heads and evacuated to the playground in an orderly manner. With everyone's active cooperation, all teachers and students were evacuated in just a few minutes.
After the earthquake drill, the firefighters of the district fire and rescue detachment Ma Xilong explained the correct use of fire extinguishers to the children, as well as the fire escape skills in different scenarios.
This fire safety into the campus activities in an entertaining way, to further enhance the fire safety awareness of kindergarten children and staff, learn fire safety knowledge, exercise escape and self-rescue skills, and then become a disseminator of fire safety knowledge, but also to build a solid safety barrier for campus fire safety.
