In case of urban waterlogging, take refuge on high ground

In case of urban waterlogging, try to avoid high terrain and stay away from low-lying places, such as urban overpasses, bridges, underground passages, underground shopping malls, underground garages and other places.
Secondly, stay away from electrical equipment, do not touch exposed wires or electrical equipment, avoid danger caused by leakage of facilities, and quickly stay away from the wires that are found to be out of power in the stagnant water on the ground. Try not to wade into water, especially in places where the water is strong or the depth of the water is unknown. In the event of waterlogging, there may be various hazards on the road surface, such as flooded manhole covers, power lines, etc. Pay attention to the roadside flood control safety warning signs, try to get close to the building, do not go near the place with whirlpools, and prevent falling into deep wells, pits and other dangerous areas with missing manhole covers.
Finally, friends who drive should pay special attention not to risk driving into a place with stagnant water, and do not park the car in a low-lying place when parking to prevent the vehicle from entering the water.

Geological disasters are mainly natural activities that bring harm to people's lives and property and great damage to infrastructure caused by geological and tectonic processes.
"There are many types of geological disasters, including collapses, landslides, debris flows, ground subsidence, ground fissures, land subsidence, etc., and the most common ones in our Yuzhong District are only avalanches and landslides." Yang Xin, deputy director of the Yuzhong District Planning and Resources Bureau, said that after more than 20 years of governance, coupled with urban construction, most of the 30 geological disaster points and surrounding risk areas have been treated so far, and in this case, the hidden danger of large-scale slope landslides and integral rock mass collapse is relatively small. Normally, only in the case of extreme rainfall or human engineering activities, some local soil slips will occur, that is, landslides of soil layers and a small amount of rock shedding, which is what we call the situation of falling stones. "Therefore, the geological environment of the entire Yuzhong District is still safe and controllable."
As for what ways to avoid the damage caused by geological disasters? Yang Xin said that it is necessary to pay attention to the warning information released publicly, including rainfall, high winds and temperatures. At the same time, geological disasters have a certain lag, in extreme weather conditions, especially heavy rainfall and a period of time after heavy rainfall (about 48 hours), try not to go to the cliff, border, riverside area, such as Yuzhong District Yanziyan, Fotuguan, along the half-mountain cliff line trail, etc., do not stay around the high and steep slope and cliff wall for a long time. "If you find that there is an abnormality in the rock mass and slope in actual life, under the condition of ensuring safety, you should call the police of our bureau and report to the local street community as soon as possible."
The Yuzhong rapid waterlogging prevention and disposal team dealt with and rescued it as soon as possible
Chongqing's summer often has strong convective weather such as heavy rain and strong winds, what should we do as residents in this situation? Jiang Zhiqiang, director of the Office of the Yuzhong District Flood Control Headquarters and deputy director of the District Emergency Management Bureau, said that in response to strong convective weather, Yuzhong will issue early warnings in a timely manner. After the early warning is issued, the flood control headquarters will send the early warning information to specific units through mobile phone text messages, financial media centers, open government affairs, as well as departments and streets through self-media, WeChat, etc., as well as community grid personnel, so as to achieve household to person.
After receiving the early warning information, if residents are at home, they should move the windows and balconies of their homes to a safe place where they are easily blown off by the wind, close the doors and windows in case of thunder and lightning, and turn off the power supply of electrical appliances to prevent conduction. For production enterprises, Jiang Zhiqiang reminded that after receiving the strong convective weather forecast and warning, it is necessary to forward the early warning information in a timely manner, let everyone in the enterprise know, and inspect the internal facilities, lines, and lightning protection facilities of the enterprise to ensure safe operation. In the outdoors, it is forbidden to use dangerous operations such as hoisting operations and outdoor use of open flames, and take preventive measures such as emergency drainage and equipment reinforcement to ensure safety during flood control.
It is understood that since the flood on April 15 this year, combined with the meteorological characteristics of this year, the flood control headquarters of Yuzhong District has made strict deployments, including updating 2,160 key responsible persons for early warning information, implementing "point-to-point" calls, and decisively taking measures to suspend work, school, operation and navigation under extreme conditions; Enrich emergency supplies and equipment in advance, and sort out 3,834 sets (pieces) of emergency rescue equipment such as flood control and rescue, water rescue, and earthquake geology.
