From May 3rd to 4th, the "South of Caiyun" chess and card series and the first "Red Tashi Cup" chess open tournament in Weixin County jointly organized by the Yunnan Provincial Chess and Card Sports Management Center and the Zhaotong Municipal Education and Sports Bureau were held in Weixin County, and dozens of chess players (mostly provincial champions, municipal champions, and county champions) from Yunnan, Sichuan, Chongqing, Zhejiang and other provinces and cities gathered together to learn chess skills.
At 9:00 a.m. on May 3, the referee announced the start of the game, and the chessboard suddenly jumped and was very lively. After two days of fierce competition, there were 9 rounds in the adult group and 7 rounds in the youth group, and the rankings of each group were determined. The top 15 students in the adult group and the top 9 in the youth group will be admitted.
There are 10 chess players from Zhenxiong County participating in the competition, including 5 in the adult group and 5 in the junior group.
In the final competition, three people won the first, fifth and twelfth places in the adult group, and three people won the fourth, sixth and eighth places in the junior group.
