At that time, the commander of the 1st Division was Liang Xingchu, who was also a fierce general, and after attracting all the enemy's main forces under artillery fire, he found that the 7th Brigade, which should have followed, had never moved, and the two sides launched close-quarters hand-to-hand combat on the main positions, and the 1st Division repeatedly repelled the enemy's attack, but helplessly, the enemy's counterattack was even more fierce, and Liang Xingchu could not contact the 7th Brigade, and directly commanded the troops to launch a fierce attack on the enemy's weak areas.
But fortunately, at this time, the 7th Brigade also threw themselves into battle, and it turned out that they were instructed by the headquarters to deliberately slow down for ten minutes into battle, the purpose of which was to paralyze the enemy, to make the enemy mistakenly think that there was an enemy in only one direction, so that they concentrated all the main forces in one direction, and then took advantage of the situation to put in another force, so that the enemy would inevitably be unable to take care of himself, and sure enough, after the 7th Brigade entered the battle, the enemy's position was immediately in chaos.
Although the Kuomintang army later invested a lot of troops to rescue, the vanguard of its 52nd Army has engaged in an exchange of fire with the 7 arsons, the two sides are fiery, but our army is more and more courageous in the war, and finally after a fierce battle, our army successfully annihilated all the main forces of the enemy's 89th Division, and the division commander Wan Zhaoren made up and fled, you must know that although the enemy 89th Division belonged to the second-rate troops during the War of Resistance, it was accepted by some American equipment after the end of the War of Resistance, and the combat effectiveness was greatly improved, and after this battle, the main force of the Kuomintang Army was annihilated.
