Where did the bookshelf that was replaced by the closure of the book city go?
Shanghai Book City and Yiju Lenong jointly launched the "Bookshelf to the Countryside, Sunshine Reading" activity, donating the bookshelf to the FA Commune Library of Wei County, Zhangjiakou, Hebei Province, to save resources and make the best use of materials.
During the period of closure and renovation, Shanghai Book City will open a transitional area of nearly 1,500 square meters of sunken square in Jiuliu Square, No. 796 Dongfang Road, Pudong District, including more than 30,000 kinds of social science literature textbooks and teaching and auxiliary books, and continue to provide reading services for the public.
