Pearl dumplings are a famous snack in Qiuyang (Xiantao City), Hubei Province, and are one of the famous "Three Steamings in Qiuyang". Most of the steamed vegetables in The Yang Dynasty are served as the main dishes in the feast, so the Jianghan Plain is known as the custom of "not inviting guests without going to the grid (referring to the steamer grid)". This dish is mostly served in small steamers, the traditional steamer is generally about 17 cm in diameter, small and refined, commonly known as "stack cage".
