"Now the avocado has reached maturity, we are picking the fruit, this avocado is in February, hanging fruit in March, ripening in September to October, after ripening there is a post-ripening process, about 10 days to wait, you can taste." In the planting process, he found and solved the problems encountered in local cultivation, and summarized how local avocado planting should break through the technical bottleneck of scale, and finally after three years, the base of nearly 50 acres of avocado ushered in the first hanging fruit this year, of which the price of a single fruit can reach 20 yuan a grain.
Yang Xudong said that the avocados in the base are divided into primary fruits and secondary fruits, and the weight of the single fruit of the first-grade fruit can reach more than 250 grams, and the retail price of each grain is 20 yuan; the average weight of the secondary fruit reaches 200 grams, and the retail price of each grain is more than 10 yuan.
It is understood that the current listed avocado varieties for Haas, mainly sold to Chengdu, Chongqing, Shanghai, Beijing and other places, due to the delicate taste of avocados, high nutritional value, favored by consumers, a listed supply is in short supply.
"Through taste comparison, Panzhihua's locally produced avocado is superior to imported Mexican Peruvian Chilean avocado, and if compared in China, the taste is also better than that of avocado grown in Yunnan, Guangxi." Yang Xudong, general manager of Panzhihua Youyang Agricultural Co., Ltd., said.
With the arrival of the first harvest year of avocados, this year's avocado mu yields half a ton, the output value per mu can reach 15,000 yuan, and the company has formed a complete industrial chain from avocado seedlings to planting and hanging fruits.
