Tetsuya Komuro is a well-known music producer in Japan, and his "Komuro family" was once very popular, and singers such as Namie Amuro, Masami Suzuki, and Tomomi Wahhara were all popular with him; singers such as Ayumi Hamasaki and Raiji Yukita were also the beneficiaries of his works.

Tetsuya Komuro in his heyday was very popular. However, after 2000, because he could not write the "Big Golden Melody", his career began to decline.

In 2018, Tetsuya Komuro was exposed by the media for cheating, after which he held a press conference and announced his retirement. But even so, he still has hundreds of millions of yen in royalties a year, allowing him to live in a large villa and have chauffeur-driven pick-ups and drop-offs.

Tetsuya Komuro had three marriages: the first with Kanako Otani, a relationship that lasted for 4 years; the second with Asami Yoshida, a relationship that lasted only 10 months; and the third, keiko.

The two married in November 2002, and in 2020 the two sides went to court.

According to media reports, as the party at fault in the marriage, Tetsuya Komuro was only willing to give Keiko 80,000 yen per month in alimony (about 4,858 yuan), and Keiko of course did not do it. She suffered a stroke in 2011, and although she didn't have serious sequelae, she certainly had a tough second half of her life. The court considered it at its discretion, and in the end she not only received the property, but also received compensation from Tetsuya Komuro.
