Mr. Chen Zhenzhen was born in Quanzhou, Fujian Province, in a scholarly family, where the elders of the family had been officials for generations. Chen Zhenzhen's uncle also participated in the League and participated in the Xinhai Revolution led by Sun Yat-sen. As a teenager, she studied at the West Corner School founded by her uncle and later entered Peiying Girls' High School. One day, her teacher recommended that the students go to Quanzhou Chengtian Temple to listen to a master's teachings, thinking that the teachings were very reasonable. Pei Ying Girls' High School is a church school, this teacher is a Christian, and Chen Zhenzhen often goes to church to worship, but she has not yet been baptized. How could a teacher recommend a Buddhist master? Chen Zhenzhen and her classmates went to the Chengtian Temple with doubts, and saw a mage with kind eyebrows, elegant demeanor and kind appearance sitting on the stage. The voice of the sermon was soft and warm, and the order of the pulpit was solemn, which made the young girl nod frequently, and she was impressed.

After the sermon, she realized that this was the famous Master Hongyi. When she was a child, the song she had learned, "Farewell", was composed by Master Koichi before he left home. This beautiful meeting planted a seed of Buddhism in Chen Zhenzhen's heart. Three years later, during the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, the Chen family went to the mountains of Quanzhou to hide from the Japanese. Master Koichi was here, and she saw the mage again. This time, Chen Zhenzhen followed her family and sat by the mage's side to listen carefully. After some enlightenment, she suddenly understood the true meaning and value of Buddhism, and suddenly had a feeling of sudden enlightenment. From then on, she no longer went to church, but read Buddhist books and devoted herself to seeking the truth of Buddhism. Unfortunately, Master Hongyi died in 1942, and Chen Zhenzhen was unable to return to his subordinates.

In 1946, Chen Zhenzhen converted to Master Sex Wish, who was a Taoist companion of Master Hongyi when he was teaching the Fa in Quanzhou. The day of his conversion is the fourth anniversary of the death of Master Koichi. This arrangement was made only because she considered herself to be a "private disciple" of Master Hongyi. Taking the Master as a role model in her life, she resolutely resigned from her well-paid position as a secondary school teacher and went to work as a teacher in an orphanage founded by a monastery. In 1949, under the guidance of Master Sex Wish, she became the head of the Quanzhou Buddhist Academy, specializing in cultivating female Buddhist believers. In the 1960s, the Buddhist Academy was closed for a time. After more than a decade of turmoil, in 1987 Chen Zhenzhen, with the support of the Buddhist community, resumed it, and she served as the head of the court again, and did not retire until the age of 76. To this day, the school still trains a large number of Buddhist talents.

After the death of Master Hongyi, Chen Zhenzhen will make a wish every morning in front of the statue of the master, hoping that one day the karma will mature and the complete collection will be published for the master. Even when she was busy and busy, she never forgot her vows, while resuming the Quanzhou Buddhist Academy, while sorting out the remains of Master Hongyi and raising funds for publication at home and abroad. In 1991, the eight-million-word "The Complete Works of Master Hongyi" was published in Quanzhou. Later, after 20 years of collection at home and abroad, in 2010, an updated edition of the Complete Works of Master Hongyi was published, which increased to 10 million words. The two publications have introduced the works of Master Hongyi to the general public, and the Chinese Buddhist and literary circles have set off a boom in the study of Master Hongyi (Li Shutong). Mr. Chen Zhenzhen has made immeasurable contributions to the promotion of Buddhism and has become a well-known female Buddhist scholar in China.

Mr. Zhu Guangqian, a famous literary scholar, once commented: "Master Hongyi is a high priest whom I most admire in contemporary times in our country, and he will always be strict and stubborn in his life, setting up a monument to the national spiritual culture." "The mountains are uplifted, the scenery is stopped, and Chen Zhenzhen has become a staunch Buddhist under the inspiration of master Hongyi's virtue. Throughout his life, he kept following in the footsteps of Master Hongyi, adhering to Buddhist education, spreading true faith and true cultivation, following the master, and eventually becoming a master. Mr. Chen Zhenzhen is worthy of being a "private disciple" of Master Hongyi, and a Buddha who is brave and selfless.

The Slovaks are far away, and the relics still exist. Buddhism has continued to this day by generations of lantern bearers, and when future generations have benefited from the light of wisdom, they cannot but be grateful for the great wishes of Master Hongyi, Master Sex Wish, and Mr. Chen Zhenzhen. After bidding farewell to Mr. Chen Zhenzhen, we should forge ahead, inherit the cause of Everbright's predecessors, and benefit more future generations!
