Our specialty courses include ornamental gardening, and we have learned a lot of flowers and trees, such as various chrysanthemums, various begonias, a bunch of red, daffodils, pansies, peonies, peonies, moon seasons, etc.
During the winter vacation, I didn't go home, and many of my classmates didn't come home. At this time, the three anti-five anti-movement was launched throughout the country, and the students also went to the streets to make propaganda. There is a propaganda team performing a live newspaper drama, and the students are setting up a scene so that the publicity team can perform.
The school also conducted an internal inventory to check the accounts to see if there was any corruption. I participated in the milk factory account check, because of the account check, I and the factory masters learned to plan the plate, but also will add and subtract, I played very fast, did not fall behind.
After the inventory was completed, a major ideological transformation of intellectuals was carried out, mainly for faculty and staff.
Later, anti-American germ warfare was carried out, and full-time teachers gave health lectures, and organized outings to dig holes in stones to find maggot eggs of flies.
Later, they hid from the alarm, which was the early days of liberation, the US imperialists often came to invade, and in the middle of the night, when everyone heard the siren, they rushed to the basement under the building, which was used for air defense. Didn't come back to sleep until the alarm was lifted.
As mentioned earlier, when we first entered the school, I led the new students to dance a group dance, and after coming to Taishan Road Agricultural College, the old students held a welcome party to welcome those of us who had just entered the school and did not understand anything.

Why did I sing? The reason was that the male classmate who led the singing was a repeat student, and he did not go up. So I had to direct it hard, so I may be the first freshman my old classmates know.
Because after this appearance opportunity, when the College of Agriculture re-elected the student council, I was nominated to the student union as the minister of culture and entertainment, and I was given the deputy to Tang Xueli, who was also from the department of horticulture, one class higher than us, and we worked together, holding dances, New Year's parties, chess and card competitions in the auditorium. During the winter vacation, the Ministry of Education selected students from various universities to go to the Soviet Union and Eastern Europe, my good friend Xu Mulan was selected, she returned to her home in Shanghai once, she went to Beijing to report to train foreign languages, and later heard that she went to Poland, and now I don't know where she is? What is she doing? At the same time, several boys were selected and now do not know where they are doing.
After the start of the school year, in May I joined the New Democratic Youth League, and the introducer was Chen Jingfen, who was the secretary of the branch at that time.
In June, we went to a farm run by Chengyang School in the suburb of Qingdao and participated in internship work such as wheat harvesting.
Summer vacation came, the Provincial Department of Agriculture organized students of the Agricultural College to participate in the rural economic survey in Shandong Province, and our first-year students were no exception, and they all had to participate in this activity.
At this time, the national faculties and departments were greatly adjusted, revoked or merged, and it was decided that the Agricultural College of Shandong University would merge with the Shandong Agricultural College in Jinan.
In this way, our action is not only to participate in the rural survey, but also to prepare for the school. The school asked everyone to pack their luggage and send it to the prescribed classroom, and there was a special person in charge of transporting it to Jinan, and we only took some daily necessities to Jinan.
In this way, we left this beautiful coastal city , Qingdao.
