In 1983, his wife was tied behind her back and knelt by the bedside, and the killer was exposed for bragging with people while riding

In 1983, there was a burglary in which the victim was a woman who, by the time her husband found her, had no vital signs. Her hands were tied behind her back, her clothes disheveled, her mouth covered with a towel, and she died in her own home. After receiving the alarm, the police immediately launched an investigation into the case. With the deepening of the investigation, the traces of the real murderer appeared in the police line of sight, but suffering from the inability to determine his true identity, the police have been chasing him, and finally because the murderer bragged with other passengers when he fled by car, because the chat content exposed his identity, fell into the legal net.

At about 5:30 p.m. on May 8, 1983, it was during the rush hour of work. Wan Huyong, who works at the Jinshan Petrochemical General Plant, returned home after work as usual. Wan Huyong, who lives in Room 303, No. 776, Petrochemical Seven Villages, called for his wife when he returned home, but did not get a response from his wife. Wan Huyong, who knew that his wife was resting today, had some accidents, and then went to the bedroom and found his wife kneeling on the edge of the bed, her head buried in the bed, and her clothes were not neat. Wan Huyong knew that something was wrong and quickly went forward to call his wife, but his wife did not react at all. Wan Huyong removed the yellow towel stuffed in his wife's mouth and found that her wife had no breath. Wan Huyong quickly reported the case to the local police station.

After receiving the report, the police station immediately organized the police force to dispatch the police, rushed to the scene of the crime, and carried out protection work on the scene. The forensic technicians who investigated the scene of the crime found that the deceased, Zhou Huizhen, was kneeling by the bedside and was not dressed neatly, and after forensic identification, it was determined that she had been violated by the murderer. There was a large amount of blood on the bed in the bedroom, and a shoelace was found in the thumb of the deceased's right hand, which was the object used by the murderer to tie the victim's arms back when committing the crime.

The police also found a large number of flipping marks in the room, including the large cabinet in the room, the chest of drawers and other furniture, all of which had traces of being turned over, but the locks of the furniture were not damaged, and they should be turned over after being opened with the key on the victim. The investigators conducted an inspection of the door and found that there was no trace of pry pressing on the lock of the door. Generally, this situation occurs, indicating that the door may have been opened by the victim to the murderer, and most of them are committed by acquaintances. In the process of the police investigation of the scene, no effective direct clues were obtained, only a palm print, which had some comparison value, and the rest were no more important discoveries.

In 1983, his wife was tied behind her back and knelt by the bedside, and the killer was exposed for bragging with people while riding

In 1983, the means of forensic technology that could be used were still very limited, such as the camera that could often be viewed when solving cases was not available at that time, nor was there DNA technology that could quickly and accurately determine the identity of the murderer. For example, Zhou Huizhen was killed at home, there were no suspicious clues left at the scene except for rummaging, and the murderer did not leave an important murder weapon, just by relying on a palm print, it is very difficult to solve the case and catch the real murderer.

In that era, although there was no high-tech criminal investigation method to support, the investigators also had a rich means of solving the case, and after surveying the scene, they quickly formulated the action direction for solving the case according to the situation that there was only one palm print as a clue. First, the forensic doctor conducts an autopsy on the body of the deceased. Found that the deceased's chest and back had a total of eight wounds, the murderer was very cruel, every wound on the deceased's body was very deep, such a ferocious attack directly led to the deceased's heart and lungs bleeding heavily, due to excessive bleeding to die. Judging from the neat cut of the wound, it can be preliminarily concluded that the murderer should have used a weapon such as a sharp dagger.

Subsequently, with the assistance of Wan Huyong, the police conducted an inventory of the family's lost belongings and confirmed that a wheeled suitcase, a watch and a gold necklace, as well as a pink sheet and clothing, and a radio had been robbed. The civilian police have made a detailed registration of these items as a basis for future investigations of stolen goods. In the 1980s, the method of finding people by objects was also an important means for criminal investigators to solve cases.

In addition to this, the family of the deceased also provided an important clue to the police. It turned out that the deceased Zhou Huizhen and Wan Huyong had just gotten married in March this year, and they were a newlywed couple who were in the honeymoon period. Wan Huyong had never been in love before marriage, but Zhou Huizhen had a relationship before marriage, and this relationship had just ended shortly before she got married.

Zhou Huizhen's ex-boyfriend is named Dong Mou, and Zhou Huizhen has been in a romantic relationship for more than ten years, and their love relationship was not broken until shortly before the marriage of Zhou Huizhen. After Zhou Huizhen proposed to break up, Dong felt unacceptable and has been grumpy about this matter. However, Zhou Huizhen was already determined, and shortly after the breakup, she held a wedding with Wan Huyong in March and officially became Wan Huyong's wife. At this point, Dong should accept reality, but the matter of Zhou Huizhen getting married made Dong extremely angry, and even wrote a "letter of desperation" threatening to kill Zhou Huizhen.

In 1983, his wife was tied behind her back and knelt by the bedside, and the killer was exposed for bragging with people while riding

According to this analysis, Dong Mou once showed the intention to kill people, and also had the motive to kill people, and his suspicions were very large. But will there be any untrue circumstances reported by the family members of the deceased? Police also can't be sure. Based on this situation, the police make arrangements for the next step. First, members of the special case team were dispatched to secretly investigate Dong's situation and confirm or eliminate his suspicions; second, according to the situation and clues found in the on-site investigation, they visited and investigated the surrounding masses and the deceased's "close friends" to track down the murderer's whereabouts.

The investigators conducted a key investigation of Dong and found that Dong did have a criminal motive, but with the deepening of the investigation, it was found that Dong did not have the time to commit the crime on the day of Zhou Huizhen's death, and the evidence of alibi was sufficient, which basically excluded the suspect.

On the other side, the police officers who visited the masses learned from Mao Lingzhen, a resident of Room 301 in the same building of the deceased, that at about four o'clock in the afternoon on the day of the crime, they saw Zhou Huizhen go out and leave home. Zhu Chaohai, who lives in Room 201 of the same building, told the police that at more than 4 p.m. on the day of the crime, he saw Zhou Huizhen in the vegetable market of The Seven Petrified Villages. These circumstances prove that Zhou Huizhen's murder time should be the time after returning home from buying vegetables at the vegetable market to the time when her husband Wan Huyong returned home from work.

During the visit to the masses, the police specifically asked whether anyone had found anyone acting abnormally or what unusual things had happened. Shen Limei, who is in Room 202 of the same building, reported that at more than four o'clock in the afternoon that day, a man with one-sided hair and a height of between 1.72 and 1.74 meters had knocked on the door of her house, and the man asked her, is this a two-person household? Also asked if there is anyone with the surname Wang in the Viren factory? Shen Limei had never seen this man before, so he did not open the door for him, and told him through the door that there was no such person, and he left.

Jin Lichang, who was in Room 603 of the same building, reflected the same situation as Shen Limei, and the man who knocked on the door was the same person, and the question asked was the same. After Jin Lichang gave the same answer as Shen Limei, the man left. Jin Lichang looked in the direction of the gate for about a minute afterwards, but did not notice that the man appeared at the gate and returned to the house.

The appearance of this man attracted the attention of the police, and in the subsequent visits, the man reappeared. Si Jinmei, who lives in Room 104 of Building 762, reported that at about 4:30 p.m. on the day of the crime, she went out to take out the garbage once, and when she walked to the garbage bin of building 776, she was taking out the garbage, and saw a man with one side of his hair, holding a black leather suitcase in his left hand, and clutching a large bag wrapped in a pink sheet on his back in his right hand, and left in a hurry.

Black suitcases and pink sheets, both of which were listed in Wan Huyong's list of looted items, and if there was no accident, this mysterious man should be the murderer of the great crime. After the investigator reports this news, he immediately speeds up the investigation. After that, Zhu Changhua and Li Xihua reported to investigators that at about 4:45 p.m. on the day of the crime, they had seen the man carrying a black leather suitcase and carrying a bag. At that time, they were on the road, and happened to see this man on the Shanghai-Hangzhou Highway, communicating with a farmer riding a bicycle, and the man proposed to take the farmer's bicycle to jinweidong railway station.

In 1983, his wife was tied behind her back and knelt by the bedside, and the killer was exposed for bragging with people while riding

When the investigators heard the news, they immediately rushed to the Jinweidong Railway Station to investigate. Under many inquiries, Wang Shuying, a ticket inspector on duty that day, was found to inquire about the situation. Wang Shuying reflected that at about 5 p.m. on the day of the crime, the man described by the police did appear at the railway station, he was in a hurry, let him buy a ticket, he said to "get on the bus and then make up the ticket", and then hurriedly got on the train. Wang Shuying recalled that the person was on the No. 8 car at that time. The investigators again approached the conductor in charge of carriage 8 that day and asked about the man. The conductor said that the man did get on the train from car 8, but he did not stop in car 8, and after getting on the train, he went straight through car 8 and walked into car 7.

This man is likely to be the murderer of Zhou Huizhen, and if he cannot be arrested in a short period of time, the difficulty of solving the case will continue to increase over time. Based on the clues currently available, it is not easy to figure out the identity of this person. The police immediately held an analysis meeting to analyze the case and formulate the next step of the investigation.

First, judging from the fact that the door lock in the victim's home was not broken, it was conceived that it might be an acquaintance who committed the crime. But from the clues currently available, it is likely that the murderer escaped by train. Coupled with the fact that the murderer knocked on the door twice to inquire, it shows that although he knows about this place, he is not fully familiar with it, and does not rule out the possibility of committing a crime by wandering;

Second, after killing the victim, this person did not immediately flee into the wilderness, but calmly looted the property and left with the stolen goods in a big way. From this situation, it is very likely that the person has had criminal experience, and if he wants to be identified, priority can be given to the investigation of persons released after completing his sentence, persons with criminal records, and fugitives from laogai, etc.;

Accordingly, the police immediately sent someone to focus on the investigation of people with criminal records or fugitives. At the same time, the investigators were divided into three roads, all the way to the scene of the crime, and checked the nearby residents again to find out whether there were relatives who had committed crimes, because this group of people knew about the scene but was not familiar with the situation, which was consistent with the suspect's knocking on the door; the other way rushed to the railway station, and all the staff of the train on the day of the crime and the more than 500 employees on the car were visited and investigated. The third investigators began to visit the old goods market in the nearby city, because the murderer had robbed a lot of valuables and was likely to choose to shoot. If clues to stolen goods can be found in the used goods market, the case can be solved by means of material search.

After some arduous efforts, the investigators who checked the relatives did not get effective clues, and the investigators of the used goods market did not find the stolen goods. However, the investigators who checked the train staff and passengers, after checking the entire train staff and more than 500 employees who took the train on the day, found important information about the suspect.

In 1983, his wife was tied behind her back and knelt by the bedside, and the killer was exposed for bragging with people while riding

Two employees of a petrochemical commercial service company took the same train as the suspect that day and sat in seats near the suspect. The two employees are named Lemea and Ma Zhiyong. According to the two, they took the 720 train that day, near the junction of 7 cars and 6 cars. When the train was about to start, he hurried into the carriage and a man with a black suitcase and a pink bag.

He first placed the suitcase on the luggage rack above the train and stuffed it under LeMea's seat. At that time, there were two people sitting in this seat, one was Lemea, and the other was a man who "wore Xiulang's glasses" (for convenience, he was later called the glasses man). After the suspect put his things away and stood up, he was already sweating profusely, and Lemea and the glasses man saw the situation, and at the same time squeezed in the direction of the window, vacating the seat to a place where he could sit and let the suspect sit down and rest.

After the suspect sat down, next to the glasses man, after the train began to run, the talkative glasses man began to take the initiative to talk to the suspect, the two chatted very speculatively, the more they talked, the happier they were, and once the topic of chat was pulled to the police's ability to handle cases. After the glasses man's box was completely opened, he began to say all the things he had done before. During the chat, the glasses man said that he had once entered the public security bureau for stealing bicycle decals. The suspect heard the brag of the glasses man, not to be left behind, saying that he was also a regular visitor to the detention center, and accurately said the names of some of the staff in the detention center, and also talked about some recent cases to show that he was familiar with these things and was familiar with the public security bureau. The two of you bragged about it word for word, and it lasted almost the entire ride time, leaving a deep impression on Lemea and Ma Zhiyong.

In addition to this information, Lemea and Ma Zhiyong also noticed important features in the suspects. According to them, the suspect's left front teeth are missing a corner, and there are two calluses on the back of his left hand, located between the index and middle fingers.

After the police obtained this information, they were shocked. The suspect can accurately name the staff member of the local detention facility, indicating that he has most likely been in the detention center, and it can be determined that he has a previous conviction. After receiving this information, the investigators immediately rushed to the local detention center to find information about the "glasses man" and the suspect. It was confirmed that the names of the detention center staff mentioned by the suspect when he bragged on the train were all real. This proves that he has indeed come to this detention center, and as long as the suspicious persons who have entered the detention center are checked one by one, the suspects can be found. On the other hand, based on the information the glasses man said on the train, the investigators looked for the person who was sentenced for stealing bicycle decals, and soon traced the true identity of the glasses man. This person, named Yao Xiaodi, is an employee of the third bicycle factory, and was sentenced to two years in prison for stealing bicycle decals, suspended for two years.

The police did not let down their vigilance because of this, in order to prevent Yao Xiaodi from being a suspect's accomplice, before talking to him, they first conducted a secret visit to confirm that he did not have the time to commit the crime, and then directly found him to ask about the suspect. According to Yao Xiaodi's account, he did not know the suspect, and only talked for a long time because he could talk temporarily. After the train arrived at the station, Yao Xiaodi told the suspect his address, and the suspect also told him that he lived in the Changzhi area of Hongkou and was an employee of the first silk weaving factory. When the two left the train station together, the suspect did not go to make up the ticket as he promised, but handed the box to Yao Xiaodi to help take out the train station, and he himself carried the baggage and mixed into the crowd to leave the station. After the two left the train station, they rushed to their own roads and never contacted each other again.

According to the information given by Yao Xiaodi, the police immediately launched an investigation into the Yangpu and Hongkou areas, focusing on the detention centers in these two areas, mainly to find people with criminal records in the past, and to focus on those who had relatives at the petrochemical plant. At the same time, the police pass this information to the police stations, hoping that when they notice suspicious people, they will immediately report to the investigators.

In 1983, his wife was tied behind her back and knelt by the bedside, and the killer was exposed for bragging with people while riding

In the process of investigation, the police of the Jiangpu Road Police Station of the Yangpu Branch found a suspicious person in the household registration section under their jurisdiction, this person named Lu Jianyong, who is currently unemployed, but his father works in the First Silk Weaving Factory. Importantly, Lu Jianyong had been in prison for two years for theft, had a criminal record, and one of his older brothers worked at the Weilun factory of the petrochemical plant. Lu Jianyong's situation is almost completely in line with the "portrait" previously painted by the police on the suspect, and after asking his superiors to get an order to "immediately approve the arrest", the police arrested Lu Jianyong.

After the police took Lu Jianyong under control, they found stolen goods at his residence. In the face of ironclad evidence, Lu Jianyong could not deny it, so he had to confess his criminal process.

Lu Jianyong was previously sentenced to two years in prison for theft and did not report his hukou after his release. Lu Jianyong angered the yangpu sub-bureau undertaker and the police officer who managed the section, and the two were moved to kill. Lu Jianyong's plan was to kill the two men and flee to Hong Kong to avoid capture. But it takes a lot of money to escape to Hong Kong, and Lu Jianyong didn't have any money on him at the time, so he planned to do his old business and steal some money as funds for his "runaway".

Lu Jianyong boarded the train at about 10:00 a.m. on May 8, 1983, carrying a dagger, and arrived at the petrochemical area at about 12:00 noon. It was lunchtime, and Lu Jianyong was hungry and came to a restaurant to eat and drink. After leaving the hotel, Lu Jianyong left on foot and went to the 7 village of Petrified, where he drank two bottles of beer at the general store.

When the time came to about 4 p.m., Lu Jianyong left the general store, walked to Building 776, broke in, and began to look for the target of the crime. Lu Jianyong came this time to steal property, in order to confirm whether there is anyone in the household, he randomly knocked on the door of the resident, if someone is at home, he pretended to be looking for someone.

Lu Jianyong knocked on the door of a household on the 2nd floor first, and there was someone in the family, saying that there was no one he was looking for. Then Lu Jianyong came to the 6th floor and knocked on the door, it turned out that there were also people in this house, and after the owner said that there was no one he was looking for, Lu Jianyong had to leave. When he went down to the 3rd floor, Lu Jianyong noticed that the screen door of room 303 was not closed, and Lu Jianyong, who had not found a suitable target, broke in.

In 1983, his wife was tied behind her back and knelt by the bedside, and the killer was exposed for bragging with people while riding

At that time, Wan Huyong had not yet left work, and Zhou Huizhen, who was only resting at home in room 303, Lu Jianyong took out the dagger he was carrying against her, put her hands behind her back, tied her two thumbs with shoelaces, violated her, and brutally killed her. Lu Jianyong did not leave immediately after killing people, but stayed in the house to collect property and found a lot of valuables before leaving the scene of the crime.

Judging from Lu Jianyong's account, Lu Jianyong is an unrepentant and extremely evil person, but his purpose of coming to Petrified 7 Village is not to kill people, but to steal property, and he has not seen Zhou Huizhen before. Lu Jianyong was only looking for the target of theft, because the shamen of Zhou Huizhen's family were not closed, so that Lu Jianyong had an opportunity to take advantage of it. It can be seen that even in the daily life, we must pay attention to improving the awareness of prevention and closing the doors and windows in time. Because we don't know who the bad guys are, we can only do it without leaving an opportunity for sin.

Lu Jianyong's arrest was ostensibly because he bragged with Yao Xiaodi on the train and exposed his own information. In fact, there is no perfect crime in this world, if you want people to know, unless you do nothing, don't take chances and try the fa by yourself. Otherwise, all that awaits you will be the severe punishment of the law!
