On the afternoon of November 2, Wang Haiyan, secretary of the party group and director of the provincial education department, secretary of the provincial party committee education working committee, and Hou Honglei, director of the student department of the provincial education department, conducted research and guidance on the inspection of the epidemic prevention and control work of Gansu Industrial Vocational and Technical College. Wang Haiyan and his party successively went to key areas such as school entrances and exits, student canteens, student apartments, and nucleic acid testing and sampling points to inspect the epidemic prevention and control situation, and listened to the implementation of epidemic prevention and control measures such as campus closure management, personnel flow control, material condition guarantee, online education and teaching, student and staff daily life service guarantee, and volunteer service.
Wang Haiyan stressed that it is necessary to do a good job in the effective connection between online and offline education and teaching, to ensure that classes do not stop learning, suspension of classes do not stop teaching, online and offline teaching is homogeneous and equivalent; we must strictly implement the latest requirements of the territorial government for epidemic prevention and control; we must do a good job in psychological counseling of students during the epidemic; and effectively do a good job in the reserve of various epidemic prevention materials.
In the student apartment, Wang Haiyan inquired about the students' online learning, and had a cordial conversation about the practical difficulties in life after the closure of the school, and gave positive guidance and psychological relief to the possible negative emotions of the students during the epidemic. She encouraged the students to strengthen their confidence, prevent the epidemic scientifically, help each other in the same boat, and tide over the difficulties together.
