Among the 251 athletes, 119 are male and 132 are female, as well as 186 coaches, staff and competition support personnel. The athletes came from 24 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the central government, including 8 ethnic groups: Han, Mongolian, Miao, Buyi, Manchu, Dong, Yao and Bai. Their average age is 27.5 years old, the oldest is 56-year-old table tennis player Zhao Ping, and the youngest is 16-year-old swimmer Jiang Yuyan. All are amateurs, including workers, farmers, students, civil servants, clerks and freelancers, and their vaccination rates have reached 100%.
The delegation will participate in archery, athletics, hard boccia, badminton, kayaking, cycling, blind judo, weightlifting, rowing, shooting, swimming, table tennis, wheelchair fencing, wheelchair tennis, taekwondo, triathlon, blind football, wheelchair basketball, seated volleyball, blind gateball and other 20 major events, 341 sub-events, is China's participation in the largest number of overseas Paralympic events, of which 4 collective projects are participated in the whole project, badminton, taekwondo as the first time to enter the summer Paralympic Games competition projects, The Chinese delegation was able to participate in the competition.
