Joel Edgerton wrote and directed The Erased Boy starring Cass Hutches
Joel Edgerton ("Love", "The Great Gatsby") self-written and directed the same-sex theme film "The Erased Boy" and exposed a new set photo, with the male protagonists Lucas Hedges and Joe Alvin running freely. Xavier Dolan, Troyer Shivin, Joe Alvin, Cherie Jones, and Red Hot Chili Bass player Michael "Flea" Balzary appeared in the film.
Based on Garrard Conley's novel Boy Erased: A Memoir of Identity, Faith, and Family, the film tells the story of a young boy (Lucas Hedges) who faces a difficult choice after coming out of his parents (Russell Crowe, Nicole Kidman), participates in a gay conversion therapy program, or is permanently exiled and avoids his parents, friends, and abandons his religion.
The film will also be opened in a small area of North America on September 28, 2018.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, warner bros. is preparing for the independent film "Death Knell" without waiting for "Batman", and has also started negotiations with "Raid" director Gareth Evans, intending to ask the other party to direct the killer movie.
The role of "Death Knell" was supposed to appear as the main villain in the "Batman" single-player movie, but with the film's creators and script changes, the emergence of "Death knell" became unknown.
