Unexpectedly, Frank's sudden promotion and Aibo's unexpected pregnancy made Frank shake, and also made the contradiction between the two reach the extreme. Published in 1961, the novel Revolutionary Road is the debut novel of American literary master Richard Yates and his most widely known work. Nominated for the National Book Award, along with Catch-22 and The Movie Watcher, he was named one of the top 100 English fiction classics by Time magazine in 2005.
In 2008, the film of the same name based on the novel "Revolutionary Road" was released. Directed by Sam Mendes and co-starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet, the duo collaborated for the second time since 1997's Titanic.
