A: China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Food, Soil and Livestock was established in September 1988, after 33 years of development, it has 42 branches and more than 7,000 member enterprises, concentrating the head enterprises in the food and agricultural products industry and the enterprises with high industrial representation. Three years ago, based on the solid industrial foundation of Meishan kimchi, a complete standard system and a good market reputation, we began to cooperate with the Meishan Municipal People's Government to jointly hold the China Kimchi Food International Expo, at present, Meishan Kimchi has become the benchmark of Chinese kimchi, the marketing network is all over the country, and goes abroad to export to more than 100 countries and regions such as the United States, Britain, Japan and South Korea. Ji Xiangju, Chuannan, Li Ji and other local companies actively expand the domestic and foreign markets, in 2020, the city's kimchi industry sales revenue exceeded 21 billion yuan, through the third-party entrepot trade of about 300 million yuan. Meishan kimchi market potential is huge, we will give full play to the advantages of the Chinese Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Food and Livestock, on the one hand, to attract more and better international merchants to enter Meishan to participate in the China Kimchi Food International Expo to participate in the exhibition, procurement, negotiation, enhance the international influence of the Expo; on the other hand, actively coordinate and organize more Meishan kimchi and food enterprises to go out, fully display the unique charm of the Meishan kimchi industry, further expand the international market scale of Meishan kimchi, and promote the Meishan kimchi industry to become bigger and stronger.
