Yangzi Evening News Network, 13 October (Correspondent Wang Dongjin, Hu Guicai, Lu Yu, reporter Wang Guozhu) Over the past few days, one after another large trucks loaded with raw materials for mushroom cultivation have driven into the Xiuzhen mushroom planting base in the Jingjiang Agricultural Industrial Park in an orderly manner. Li Jun, the person in charge of the mushroom planting base, was busy directing the unloading of raw materials while introducing that the raw materials had just been transported from Anhui and other places, with 8,000 tons of miscellaneous wood chips and 1,200 tons of cottonseed, bran, soybean meal, quicklime and so on.

"These are all in preparation for next year's planting. This year, the trial planting of Xiuzhen mushrooms was very successful, with an output value of about 5 million yuan. Leng Hongming, general secretary of the party branch of Lizhu Village, Shengci Town, Jingjiang City, introduced that in 2014, he and a number of party members and cadres in the village took the lead in contracting land, and went to the national advanced agricultural demonstration site to study, introduce projects and capable people, Li Jun is one of the able people introduced in the village. The village and Li Jun invested a total of 16 million yuan to build a greenhouse for the cultivation of Xiuzhen mushrooms and install various supporting facilities.
"In recent years, the mushroom variety xiuzhen mushroom from Taiwan, because there are very few local cultivations, coupled with unique taste, delicious taste, nutritional value, the market prospect is very good, so the idea of planting was born." Li Jun said, but Xiuzhen mushroom planting is very difficult, the growth period needs to be cooled down to ensure the taste of mushrooms, so it is difficult to succeed in small-scale planting with families as a unit, and it is necessary to build a large-scale planting base and support corresponding equipment in order to successfully introduce seeds.
Growing Xiuzhen mushrooms is not an easy task, and each process needs to be strictly controlled to ensure the yield of Xiuzhen mushrooms. To this end, Li Jun invested more than 5 million yuan and built a production workshop of more than 2,000 square meters of bacteria bags. "The freshly made bag is black, and the white hyphae grow over 100 days and will cover the entire bag. At this point, we can move it to a greenhouse, a 400 square meter greenhouse, usually 25,000 bags of bacteria. Li Jun said that because the fungus package is cultivated by itself, the yield rate is very high, up to more than 98%. This saves the base a lot of costs.
In the first year of trial planting, Xiuzhen mushrooms were harvested. Picking rare mushrooms can only be done by hand, which means that more labor is needed. "This year's harvest starts on May 15 and lasts until around October 20. Every day, the base will invite more than 60 pickers to harvest 24 hours a day. Li Jun introduced that after the picking season, these workers will not be idle, and they will be put into the preparation of the cultivation of rare mushrooms in the next year. As a project of "I do practical things for the masses", xiuzhen mushroom planting industry increases the income of each beneficiary villager by more than 30,000 yuan per year.
A small show of rare mushrooms, planted a big name. This year's picking season, many vendors from Shanghai, Wuxi, Changzhou, Yiwu and other places took the initiative to come to the door, and the largest one-day shipment reached more than 20,000 catties. Talking about the future plans, Li Jun revealed that the second phase of the Xiuzhen mushroom planting base is in preparation, and it is expected to be planted in the next year, and the planting area of the second phase will be 3 times that of the present, and the employment problem of more than 200 people will be solved at that time.
