Chen Qitai's wife, Cynthia, is a piano teacher and a model, and Chen Qitai recalls that when he first met his wife, he felt like he had encountered a "worm in his belly".
Since marrying his wife in 1998, Chen Qitai has also loved his wife, daily arranged cooking, various housework, and almost never let his wife worry.
Although he was born in a wealthy family and was loved by thousands of children from an early age, he may also feel that it is not easy for mothers to raise their children from an early age.
Chen Qitai has always had little interest in having children, and has insisted on dink for 22 years after marrying his wife, leaving only his dog to accompany him.
In Chen Qitai's view, children are difficult to teach and manage, and they do not like children, let alone consider having children.
There are many stars in the entertainment industry who insist on Dink, but few dare to openly admit that they do not like children like Chen Qitai.

Chen Qitai especially lamented that after the return of Hong Kong, he finally had a sense of belonging, and he could say that he was Chinese.
In the face of the current situation that many young people in Hong Kong have misunderstandings and prejudices against the motherland and oppose national education, Chen Qitai also feels very speechless.
In his view, as a Hong Kong person, it is a matter of course to study the history of the motherland after the reversion, but now young people in Hong Kong generally have too narrow a vision, and they should come to the mainland to see more, open their horizons, and find their own new values and development opportunities.
