After 2000, Chen Qitai frequently visited Guangzhou because of his work. He said: "The changes in Guangzhou in the past ten years are really very big, and the hotels and attractions that my father instilled in me when I was a child have visited intermittently for more than ten years. Every time I come to Guangzhou, I have time to take a look. He also specifically mentioned that his father had told him that the Cantonese pronunciation of "Liuhua Hotel" in Guangzhou was once different from the Cantonese pronunciation of Hong Kong. "It's a very authentic memory." Chen Qitai said that he went to Guangzhou several times to work, and he also deliberately stayed at the Liuhua Hotel.

"Because my dad lives here. At that time, there was only one train station, and getting off the train and walking across from it was the Liuhua Hotel. I think Dad used to live in this hotel suite, so I went to retrieve those memories. Chen Qitai said.

At the gala, Chan Kai-tai will sing "Pearl of the Orient" by Lo Tai-yok along with Hong Kong singer Caring Yeon. Speaking of the song selection, he said: "This is a song that I like very much, and the songwriter Luo Dayou I know privately, he is a very talented songwriter. I think this song's description of Hong Kong is very accurate, and the development of Hong Kong over the years can be appreciated through this song. ”
