Before releasing the bee card, the forest defense station conducted systematic on-site training and technical guidance for the prevention and control personnel, and explained in detail the technical standards and operational requirements for the release of the red-eyed bee card, as well as the later prevention and control investigation. In the mild occurrence area of larch caterpillar in Lixin Forest Farm, the forest prevention station control staff will set the bee card evenly at 3 cards per acre, and the spacing between the two points is 15 meters * 15 meters, and the bee card is fixed in the shade of the trunk of the first round of branches using pushpins or bark branches.
