The Marxist Academy and the Retirement Work Office carried out joint study activities of party branches

On the afternoon of October 15, the Second Party Branch of the Marxist Institute of Postgraduate Students and the Incumbent Party Branch of the Retired Work Office held a special study and exchange meeting on the "Regulations on the Flag and Emblem of the Communist Party of China" (hereinafter referred to as the "Regulations"). The meeting was presided over by Wang Jing, secretary of the Second Party Branch of the Master's Degree Students of the Marxist Academy.

At the meeting, Wang Jing made a report on the study of the relevant contents of the "Regulations." Wang Jing gave a detailed explanation from three aspects: the background and significance of the formulation of the "Regulations," the composition and development history of the party emblem and the party flag, and the five main principles followed in the formulation of the "Regulations." She said that the party emblem and the party flag are the symbols and symbols of the party, which clearly indicate the nature, purpose and goal of the party, and represent the party's forward direction and spiritual strength. Every party member should fully understand the importance of the "Regulations," study and implement the provisions of the "Regulations," continuously improve their political judgment, political understanding, and political execution, consciously protect the party flag, standardize the use of the party flag, and use practical actions to add color to the party flag and add glory to the party emblem.

Tan Yanfei put forward the relevant requirements for thoroughly implementing and studying the "Regulations." She said that in studying the "Regulations," we must improve our political standing, fully understand the important significance of studying the "Regulations," strengthen the study and publicity, profoundly understand the spirit and essence of the "Regulations," carry out self-examination and self-correction, and promote the implementation of the requirements of the Regulations.

During the meeting, party members and comrades also watched the teaching video together, and Liu Qi, Zhang Zhongbei and Zhang Yan of the Second Party Branch of the Marxist Academy of Master's Degree Students made exchange speeches. The three students said that through this meeting, they had a deeper understanding of the study of the "Regulations" and a deeper understanding of the party emblem, party flag, and party membership.
