Biography
Lin Boqu (March 20, 1886 – May 29, 1960), formerly known as Lin Zuhan,ZiYuan (字邃園), was a native of Liangshuijing Village, Xiumei Town, Anfu (now Linli County), Hunan.
He joined the League in his early years. He joined the Communist Party of China in 1921 and is one of the outstanding leaders of the Communist Party of China and the People's Republic of China.
He participated in important revolutionary activities such as the Nanchang Uprising and the Long March, and served as the chairman of the Shaanxi-Gansu-Ningxia Border Region Government. After the founding of New China, Lin Boqu served as secretary general of the Central People's Government Committee and vice chairman of the first and second sessions of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress.
Comrade Lin Boqu is a famous proletarian revolutionary and educator. He is one of the important leaders of the party and the state, and together with Dong Biwu, Xu Teli, Xie Jueya, and Wu Yuzhang, he is called and called the "Five Elders of Yan'an".
He died in Beijing in 1960 at the age of 74.
Stick to communism
Lin Boqu followed Sun Yat-sen's ideas of "expelling the Tartars, restoring China, establishing the Republic of China, and equalizing land rights" and participated in the National Revolution.
On March 20, 1926, Chiang Kai-shek created the "Zhongshan Ship Incident".
Lin Boqu was an elder of the Kuomintang, and when the right wing of the Kuomintang rebelled against the revolution, he adhered to the revolutionary position of a Communist Party member, resolutely broke with them, and resolutely fought against them.
After Leaving the Kuomintang, Lin Boqu came to the Sixth Army of the National Revolutionary Army, and then joined the Ye Tingbu of the Fourth Army to launch the Nanchang Uprising.
Since then, he has remained in the Communist Party to serve the Communist Party.
After participating in the Long March and arriving in northern Shaanxi, Lin Boqu took root in northern Shaanxi and successively served as the chairman of the Shaanxi-Gansu-Ningxia Border Region for 13 years, building the border area into a model anti-Japanese base area under extremely difficult conditions, and accumulating experience in building a new China from all aspects.
In fact, from the Shaanxi-Gansu-Ningxia Border Region, we can see some shadows of New China, even if it is the prototype of New China.
On the eve of the founding of New China, in order to prepare for the new CPPCC and establish a new China, although he was 63 years old, he sometimes worked for 20 hours continuously.
At the Second National People's Congress held in 1959, he was elected vice chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress.
During this period, he devoted himself to hard work and hard work for the socialist modernization of the motherland.
For more than half a century, he has participated in the revolutionary struggle in all stages of China's history, devoted his life's energies to the great cause of communism, and is one of the few outstanding communist fighters and outstanding proletarian revolutionaries in our Party who have devoted himself to the Chinese revolution since the beginning of this century.
