Judy Garland (1922-1969) was born in Minnesota in 1922 to a family of jugglers, originally known as Francis Gum, and performed on stage at an early age. In the mid-1930s, he joined MGM and came to the screen with the short feature film Every Sunday. Judy Garren rose to fame with The Wizard of Oz (1939) and won a special Oscar, a small golden statue. Her performance of "Over the Rainbow" was mesmerizing, and won the 12th Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences "Special Oscar for Best Child Actor of the Year".
Since then, Judy Garren has become MGM's most important actor, making a series of song and dance films. From teenage star to cabaret star, she is still growing popular in the film industry, but behind the success Judy Garren is under great pressure, she is nervous, and relies on illegal drugs to control her weight, which seriously destroys her body. 1951 was the worst year of her life for Judy Garren, not only divorced, but also fired by MGM. He died prematurely in June 1969 due to an overdose of sleeping pills at the age of 47.
