Amalfen Sports plans to sell its bicycle brand
Recently, Amer Sports, the parent company of Arc'teryx, announced that it has reached an agreement with private equity firm PV3 Investments to split and sell its American bicycle brand ENVE Composites. PV3 Investments is a private investment firm based in the United States. Founded in 2007, ENVE Composites is one of the few U.S. bike brands with U.S. manufacturing capabilities. The U.S.-based company's dedication to high-performance products and in-house manufacturing has made it an innovation leader in wheels, components, and bicycles, while working with many of the world's best athletes.
Chanel will be hosting an early spring resort show in Hong Kong, China
Chanel recently announced plans to host the Cruise 2024 and 2025 holiday shows in Hong Kong on November 5, and Chanel said in a statement on May 13 that "this event will once again strengthen the brand's historical ties with the city of Hong Kong." Bruno Pavlovsky, President of Chanel's Global Boutique Division and President of Chanel's Fashion Business, said that Chanel's overall business with Chinese consumers continues to grow as Chinese consumers gradually resume cross-border travel. Driven by the continued demand from Hong Kong consumers and mainland tourists, he also noted that Hong Kong will continue to be a strategic hub for brands in the Chinese market.
Loewe launches a limited edition jewelry collection
Loewe has teamed up with pioneering artist Lynda Bengis to launch a limited-edition jewellery collection. Lynda Benglis was a giant of the American postwar school of sculpture and one of the most influential artists of our time. It is reported that the collaboration was first unveiled at Loewe's Spring/Summer 2024 womenswear fashion show, containing 20 designs, all of which are wearable sculptures, created by Lynda Benglis using the main version and technology synonymous with her personal work.

India could become the next luxury powerhouse according to Barclays
According to a recent report, India, the world's most populous country, is poised to become the next frontier of luxury. Barclays expects luxury sales in India to grow by 15 to 25 per cent annually over the next seven years, to €23 billion to €38 billion, driven by a growing middle class. Mumbai, New Delhi and Bangalore are home to about half of India's affluent population and have 90 per cent of the country's luxury retail infrastructure, with locals having a clear preference for watches and jewellery, Barclays said.
