On the morning of May 18, the 2nd Liudong New Area Bicycle City Circle Race was held as scheduled on the peripheral roads of Longhu Park in Liuzhou City. During the race, about 500 participating drivers braved the wind and rain to compete for the first place, and jointly contributed a wonderful race.
Thanks to the success of the first Liudong New Area Bicycle City Circle Race, the registration for this event is extremely hot. Among them, the 260 places in the men's road group, which is the most spectacular and the most competitive, were all filled up in only 3 hours after the registration opened. This year's event attracted more than 20 teams from all over the country, about 500 athletes and riders from more than 50 cities at home and abroad, including many top domestic teams such as BROSS-GRC, SAVA China, etc., and the overall competitive level of the event was much higher than that of the first session.
The leaders of Liudong New District attended the event and participated in the public riding tour with the invited guests and participating riders, and kicked off the competition by riding a lap around Longhu.
The cycling circuit race has a short track and many corners, which not only provides an opportunity for the card position to overtake, but also increases the risk of crashing, which tests the riding skills of the riders. The track of this competition is a 5.3-kilometer road around Longhu Park, which is an urban ring road, of which the men's mountain group and the women's mixed group are rounded for 4 weeks, and the men's road group is circled for 6 weeks.
As the competitions unfolded in turn, the rain gradually increased. The friction between the tires and the road surface makes the sound of brushing, and the water splashed by high-speed riding moves forward like a chopping wave. The wonderful race attracted many riders and citizens to watch in the rain, and everyone couldn't help but cheer for the drivers.
AFTER FIERCE COMPETITION, BLOKHIN IVAN, MA ZEQUAN AND HUANG GUANGHONG FROM THE BROSS-GRC CHINA TEAM WON THE CHAMPIONSHIP, SECOND AND THIRD PLACE IN THE MEN'S ROAD GROUP, ZENG QINGLONG, WANG RENXIAN AND WU BAISEN WON THE TOP THREE IN THE MEN'S MOUNTAIN GROUP, AND THE TOP THREE IN THE WOMEN'S MIXED GROUP WERE WON BY FU SHIQI, DUAN JIAYI AND CHEN XIAOMEI. In the team time trial, the BROSS-GRC China team, ODINKOSSEA Tongan Orthopedic United Team, and Daishing Bundchen team ranked the top three.
This competition has a significant linkage effect on the local hotel, catering and tourism market. The new Liuzhou Library, Liuzhou Citizen Service Center, and Liudong Cultural Square around the venue showed the excellent new style of urban construction in Liudong New District through the live broadcast and publicity of the event. As the venue of the event, Liudong New District has not only opened up a brand "new track" in the field of sports events, but also walked out of a steady "acceleration" in the new industrialization track. In the first quarter of this year, the total industrial output value of Liudong New Area reached 8.48 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 19.6%, ranking first among all counties and districts in Liuzhou City.
