On April 27, the "2024 Huangpi District Youth Wushu Sanda Fighting Competition", jointly sponsored by the Huangpi District Culture and Tourism Bureau (Sports Bureau) and the Huangpi District Education Bureau, and jointly organized by the Huangpi District Amateur Sports School and the Huangpi District School Sports Health and Art Workstation, ended successfully in Panlong Experimental School, with a total of nearly 200 athletes, coaches, referees and staff from 12 teams participating in the event.
Yang Hancheng, Secretary-General of Wuhan Wushu Association, Hu Yuepin, Zhang Zhiping, Principals of Huangpi District Amateur Sports School, Hu Donghui, Secretary of Huangpi District Sports and Health Arts, Hu Chunhua, Stationmaster, Gong Wenjie, Chairman of the Panlong General Branch Trade Union, and leaders of various teams attended the event.
The referee team of this event is appointed by the Wuhan Wushu Association. The good competition environment of Panlong Experimental School, the rich referee experience and professional referee knowledge of the referee team provide a solid foundation for the success of the event.
After several rounds of fierce competition, Airport No. 1 School, Panlong No. 3 Primary School and Panlong Experimental School won the first, second and third places in the total team score of the 2024 Huangpi District Youth Wushu Sanda Fighting Competition.
Panlong No. 5 Elementary School, Panlong No. 1 Primary School and Celebrity School won the "Sports Ethics Award"; Panlong No. 4 Primary School, Huashi Affiliated Primary School, Liudian School, Foreign Chinese Primary School, Jintan Primary School and Panlong No. 7 Primary School won the title of Excellent Sports Team, and the Experimental School won the Best Contribution Award.
Sanda is the most practical, competitive and appreciative event in wushu competitions. In recent years, with the gradual "branching" of sanda in Huangpi District, it has not only strengthened the physique of young athletes in our district, cultivated their will quality, activated their sense of competition and enterprising, but also made sanda a project become a strong competitive sports and a key development sport in our district.
