On May 9, Santai County Psychiatric Hospital organized more than 200 inpatient patients with mental disorders and elderly patients to carry out the spring outing activity of "Bright Spring, Healthy Companionship" in Yijing Ecological Park, so as to get close to nature and feel the coolness and comfort of spring. More than 10 members of the Peer Support Project were also invited to participate in the event. The sun is shining, the sky is clear, and the wind is smooth. At 10 o'clock in the morning, under the organization and guidance of the staff, the patients and friends are free to move, or visit the beautiful scenery, or sit around and talk, or sing songs, and feel the beauty of life in different forms.
At noon, Zhao Wei, vice president of the hospital, expressed his gratitude to the medical staff who organized the spring outing at the event site, sent sincere blessings to the patients and friends who participated in the activity, and prepared a sumptuous lunch for the patients and their families who participated in the event. After a break after dinner, the patients and friends who participated in the activities gathered together to watch theatrical performances and carry out interesting games, and in a relaxed and happy atmosphere, the patients really felt the care of the hospital family.
In the next step, Santai County Psychiatric Hospital will continue to devote itself to the construction of psychiatric rehabilitation stations, strengthen the linkage between medical and social institutions, actively explore new models of rehabilitation, and provide standardized, individualized and all-round rehabilitation treatment services for patients with mental disorders, so as to help patients improve their quality of life and social adaptability, and achieve the goal of returning to society as soon as possible and getting on the right track of life.
