The 80th anniversary celebration of the establishment of the First People's Hospital of Jintang County and the 2024 "5.12" International Nurses Day "80 Years of Wind and Rain, Forge Ahead and Innovate" speech contest came to a successful conclusion
On May 8, the Nursing Department of the First People's Hospital of Jintang County successfully held the 80th anniversary celebration of the establishment of the hospital and the 2024 "5.12" International Nurses Day "80 Years of Wind and Rain, Forge Ahead and Innovate" speech contest in the Innovation Hall. Chen Jian, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the hospital, Wang Ruihe, member of the Party Committee and Executive Vice President, Wen Yiming, Chief Accountant, Zhang Rong, Director of the Nursing Department, and Zhuo Xiaojian, Deputy Minister of the Propaganda Traditional Warfare Department, participated in the event as judges, and felt the humanistic atmosphere of pride and forge ahead with the nurse representatives.
Executive Vice President Wang Ruihe delivered a speech. After the preliminary round and the semi-final, 20 nurses from 14 nursing units of the hospital entered the finals. The contestants used vivid examples and sincere emotions to relive the ups and downs of the hospital in the past 80 years, eulogize the development achievements of the hospital, and interpret their understanding and love for nursing with wonderful speeches based on their own job responsibilities and experiences.
The judges listened carefully and felt attentively, spoke highly of the performance of the contestants, and selected 1 first prize, 3 second prizes, 4 third prizes, and 6 excellence awards.
Deputy Secretary Chen Jian summarized the competition, and he hoped that the nursing staff of the hospital would move forward bravely with firmer beliefs, accumulate strength, and continue to inject new vitality into the high-quality development of the hospital.
