On May 10, on the eve of Mother's Day, Red House Hospital held a check-in activity with the theme of "HEALTH WALK for Happy Pregnancy", through popular science lectures, interactive games, simulation experiences and other interesting links, to help pregnant mothers unlock the blind spot of pregnancy knowledge, dispel the panic of childbirth, and care for the physical and mental health of pregnant mothers.
Five experience areas, one by one to unlock the "blind spots" of pregnancy knowledge
How do you eat when you're pregnant? How much weight gain is appropriate during pregnancy? What preparations should be made for a smooth birth? How to exert force correctly during childbirth? What are some ways to relieve labor pains? ...... From pregnancy to childbirth, on the way to becoming a mother, the company and help of medical staff are indispensable. In this activity, the Red House Hospital focused on the hot issues of pregnant mothers, and set up five experience areas from outpatient clinics to delivery rooms and wards, including "How much do you know about nutrition during pregnancy", "Guess the mother's abdominal circumference", "How much do you know about non-drug analgesia" and childbirth simulation experience, so that pregnant mothers can master practical skills in a relaxed and happy game atmosphere.
In the obstetric outpatient clinic, senior nutritionists use models to conduct on-site proportioning, calorie conversion, and guide nutrition during pregnancy. In the experience area on the second floor of the outpatient clinic, the interaction of the size of the pregnant mother's abdominal circumference is simulated by blowing up balloons by family members, and obstetricians integrate the requirements of weight gain during pregnancy into it, and guide family members to participate in diet and exercise management during pregnancy. In the labor analgesia experience area on the third floor of the outpatient clinic, many expectant fathers are eager to try, and with the increase of pain level, expectant fathers have stopped one after another with a difficult face, and they also deeply understand that childbirth is not easy. In fact, in order to alleviate the labor pain of mothers in spontaneous delivery, in addition to the well-known "painless delivery", there are a variety of non-drug "analgesic artifacts" in the modern delivery room.
The delivery simulation experience area is arranged in the delivery room and obstetric ward, the real environment, meticulous teaching has attracted many families, and the midwives combined with props have unveiled the mystery of the whole process of smooth delivery for pregnant mothers, helping everyone to "preview" the way of force and the delivery process. Through the "check-in" of the five experience areas, many pregnant mothers said that with the leadership of medical staff, they did their "homework" while playing games, and their anxiety about natural delivery was also eliminated.
