Among the CCP members in the early days of the party's founding, a revolutionary couple stood out as the only couple among the more than 50 party members in the country at the time of the founding of the CPC. In March 1920, Li Dazhao instructed a group of intellectuals who initially believed in communism in the early days and secretly established the Marxist Theory Research Society of Peking University. They used two rooms in the Second Courtyard of Peking University as the activity venue, one as an office and the other as a library, of which the library was called "Kang Mu Yi Zhai". Everyone followed Li Zhaoyan, a lecturer of the "Ideal Society" from Beijing University of Chemical Technology, and walked into the story of "Kang Mu Yi Zhai".
