In order to enhance the traffic safety awareness of community residents and advocate civilized travel, the Party Committee of Yulong Community, Dongfeng Street, Huinan County, and the New Era Civilization Practice Station of Yulong Community carried out the "Safe Travel Starts with Me" civilized traffic volunteer service activity.
At the beginning of the activity, the community volunteers explained the traffic rules, the identification of road safety signs and the safety matters that should be paid attention to in daily travel to the residents of the jurisdiction in easy-to-understand language, emphasizing the importance of obeying traffic rules. Residents listened attentively and said that the lecture gave them a deeper understanding of traffic safety.
After the lecture, the volunteers came to the intersection near the community, holding leaflets, and guiding the residents to travel in a civilized manner. They not only reminded pedestrians to follow traffic lights, but also distributed traffic safety leaflets to passing residents to further strengthen traffic safety education. Driven by them, many residents said that they would start from themselves, strictly abide by traffic rules, and jointly create a safe and orderly travel environment.
This activity not only improved the residents' awareness of traffic safety, but also showed the good style of the residents of Yulong community actively participating in community construction and jointly maintaining traffic order. Through such activities, we believe that the concept of civilized transportation will be more deeply rooted in the hearts of the people and lay a solid foundation for creating a harmonious community.
