On April 22nd, Xuanwu District Junior High School English Teaching and Research Activity was held in Tiebei Branch of Kelihua Middle School, which was based on Xuanwu's "New Three Learnings" concept, integrated AI student assistance technology, and demonstrated collective lesson preparation under the new concept, reflecting the new trend of English teaching that is student-centered and integrates advanced educational concepts and technical means.
First of all, the English preparation group of the middle school affiliated to Nanjing University of Science and Technology demonstrated the large-unit lesson preparation based on the "new three learnings" and "four classrooms". Teacher Guo Jing, as the main person of this unit, elaborated on the teaching objectives of the unit as a whole and started the lecture according to the class time. Teachers in the group made suggestions and discussed teaching strategies, activity design, evaluation methods, etc. Finally, Ms. Zhu Zimeng, the leader of the lesson preparation team, showed the optimized teaching design to make it more in line with the actual needs of students and teaching goals, and pointed out that this lesson preparation method aims to promote the overall construction of knowledge and the comprehensive improvement of ability, emphasizing the coherence, situationality and inquiry of the content in the teaching design.
Zhang Min, a part-time teacher and researcher of junior high school English in Xuanwu District and a teacher from Nanjing No. 9 Middle School, was invited to comment. She highly affirmed the teaching philosophy and practical achievements of the lesson preparation group of the High School Affiliated to Southern Institute of Technology, and pointed out that its lesson preparation mode not only reflects the spirit of the new curriculum reform, but also demonstrates the professionalism and teamwork spirit of teachers.

Among them, the cross-grade temporal comparative learning and association design are particularly eye-catching, which effectively breaks the teaching barriers of the traditional single school year and realizes the integration of knowledge.
Wang Yu, a part-time teacher and researcher of English in Xuanwu District Junior High School and a teacher from Kelihua Middle School, spoke highly of this collective lesson preparation as a guest commentator. She pointed out that this unconventional mode of lesson preparation runs through the upper and lower levels, cultivating students' ability to use grammar to solve practical problems in real contexts, which fully reflects the educational value of English teaching.
Then, Mr. Chen Tian, a teacher from the Information Center of Gulou District Teacher Development Center, introduced the application potential and practical path of AI technology in English teaching. He expounded the auxiliary role of AI technology in English teaching from four aspects: assisted text creation and revision, intelligent interaction and instant feedback, cross-media resource integration and multimodal teaching support, assisted writing learning and personalized planning, and demonstrated the AI student assistance tool on site, showing a broad prospect for the deep integration of educational technology and English teaching in the future.
Finally, Huang Ying, a junior high school English teacher and researcher in Xuanwu District, made a summary of the activity.
