From April 28th to 29th, the 2024 China Mobile Computing Network Conference was held in Suzhou, with the theme of "Computing Network Lights Up the New Era of AI", which comprehensively demonstrated China Mobile's latest computing network achievements and capabilities, with more than 4,000 participants, and set up more than 10 theme activities and sub-forums around the topics of computing network facilities, technology, application, security, etc., to discuss the latest technologies, application scenarios and future trends of computing network with government leaders, industry leaders, experts, scholars and partners.
At the conference, China Mobile joined hands with more than 100 high-quality partners to set up two exhibition areas for China Mobile and partners, and the "black technology" of China Mobile's computing network, such as new computing network facilities, self-developed new technologies, new paradigms of computing networks, and new application experiences, was dizzying, and the key cooperation achievements in the field of computing networks were fully displayed, presenting a unique cutting-edge digital feast for the participants.

New infrastructure for integrated computing power network
At the scene of the exhibition area, the new infrastructure layout of China Mobile's integrated computing network was displayed in an all-round way. In terms of computing power construction, China Mobile undertakes the "4+N+31+X" computing network layout, plans the "N+X" intelligent computing center layout system, and builds the first batch of 12 intelligent computing centers in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei, Yangtze River Delta, Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, Chengdu-Chongqing, Inner Mongolia, Ningxia, Guizhou, Heilongjiang, Shandong, Hubei and other places, with an overall computing power scale of 11EFLOPS, realizing the basic coverage of the hub nodes of "Eastern Data and Western Computing". In terms of network construction, China Mobile has built the "Kyushu" integrated computing power intelligent network, promoted the integration of data, intelligence and computing, and realized the coordinated development of computing power in the east, middle and west. In terms of green and low-carbon, China Mobile adheres to green and intelligent development, and takes the lead in proposing a new standard of "green and intelligent computing power park" to build green, low-carbon and efficient infrastructure standards and service supply capabilities.

It is worth mentioning that the China Mobile Hohhot Intelligent Computing Center, which has been online for three months, has attracted widespread attention as soon as it was unveiled at the exhibition. As the world's largest single liquid-cooled intelligent computing center, China Mobile's Hohhot Intelligent Computing Center has been undertaking large-scale model training tasks since it was put into operation, and has been selected as one of the top ten super projects of central enterprises in 2023.

The underlying technology of computing power is one of the key elements of computing power network. At this exhibition, the mobile cloud COCA 2.0 heterogeneous computing architecture, a national-level independent and controllable high-performance computing base built by China Mobile, was unveiled. COCA 2.0 breaks through the traditional computing architecture, further bridges the gap between computing power and applications with more ambitious AI computing power, more efficient links, and more reliable capabilities, and promotes the leap of new computing infrastructure capabilities.

Facing diversified scenarios, China Mobile has launched a new generation of "one machine and multiple cores" Panshi server, which fully supports the dual-platform ecology of domestic information innovation and Intel, supports the Kunpeng and Haiguang information innovation processor platforms, and deeply integrates the Panshi DPU (data processor) and mobile cloud software technology stack to help the construction of national independent and controllable computing infrastructure.

At the exhibition area, China Mobile demonstrated a new intelligent and upgraded computing network brain, which integrates AI to realize intelligent scheduling optimization, intelligent design optimization, and intelligent edge integration, and manages intelligent computing network infrastructure downward, and supports the "computing leader" to provide diversified computing network services such as data express, integrated training and pushing, and cloud network café, helping computing power to achieve accurate "deployment of troops" and promoting effective cross-border integration of data. In addition, the world's first AI interactive Q&A automated cloud resource ordering debuted at the new entrance to China Mobile's computing power network, and its intelligent conversational ordering function completely subverted the cumbersome mode of ordering cloud computing resources in the past.

In terms of computing network security, focusing on the computing network convergence architecture and key security capabilities, China Mobile focused on displaying highly reliable and high-availability security products such as information innovation security and AI + computing network security cloud brain to meet the increasingly complex industry application security requirements. In addition, China Mobile also comprehensively demonstrated the "one cloud and multiple cores" platform of domestic CPUs, as well as the product adaptation verification results carried out by the Xinchuang Laboratory in typical application scenarios in the industry. Among them, as a localized server system, the Dayun Tianyuan operating system supports a full range of domestic chips to ensure the stable operation of the cloud network and promote the development of an independent and controllable industrial ecology. Xinchuang database and Xinchuang cloud computer can provide a stable and efficient cloud office environment for government and enterprise users, and promote the implementation of localization strategy and the development of domestic software and hardware products.
