In order to accelerate the reform of computer education in colleges and universities, improve the quality of education and teaching and the level of talent cultivation, and promote the exchange of experience in computer education among practitioners in the field of computer education, the China Computer Federation (CCF) and the National Association of Computer Education in Colleges and Universities will hold the "2024 China University Computer Education Conference (CCEC2024)" in Harbin, Heilongjiang Province from July 12 to 15, 2024.
The conference is hosted by the CCF Education Professional Committee, Harbin Institute of Technology, and Heilongjiang Computer Federation, with the theme of "opening up a new space for the digital development of education and building a new pattern of high-quality development of computer education". More than 10 special sub-forums have been organized on the themes of computer education and open source education of the National Natural Science Foundation of China. Welcome experts and scholars from colleges and universities, scientific research institutes, and high-tech enterprises engaged in computer education to register for the conference, and invite partners to participate in the conference.

The organizing committee cooperated with journals such as "Computer Education", "Software Guide", "Journal of Computer Technology and Education", "Computer Application Abstract" and other magazines to solicit excellent teaching and research papers from universities across the country. The accepted papers will be recommended for publication in the main journal of the cooperative journal, and the best and first-class and second-class papers will be selected and a certificate will be issued. The conference will also hold the first computer teaching case competition, which will collect teaching cases according to special groups such as computer, artificial intelligence, and network security. The collection of teaching cases will be organized by experts for review, which is divided into two stages: online preliminary evaluation and on-site evaluation, and excellent cases will be selected according to each thematic group, and certificates will be issued.
